Whats wrong with learning the hard way - Thats the problem with games nowadays, everything is on plate for you and extremely easy. Dayz is supposed to be a realistic survival game. In real life you dont have things popping up in front of you explaining how to use something, you have to learn through trial and error. If i play a new PC game which i have not played before, I will look up the keys in the options and then learn them through trial and error until i become more experience within the game. Tutorials are not needed - Waste of time. -
Admin Abuse is becoming a large problem.

What makes me laugh is alot of people in this thread, if they had their own server and had admin powers, 80% of you would spawn gear in. -

Arma 2 isnt free on steam. You can download the Arma 2 Free version which is basically the demo i think on the Arma website -

Pretty pointless IMO There is nowhere to hide the bodies, youd just be dragging a body for like a mile to the nearest bush/building Also - http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/128692-replace-hide-body-with-drag-body/ Its on the first page of Suggestion Thread... Use search functions..

I think all hacking is bad. Whether you doing it with the intent to help, its still exploiting a game. Anyone who hacks deserves to be banned. What happened to just playing games properly nowadays..?

You want to use DxTory - great quality, cheap(ish) and doesnt impact your fps (most likely 5-10fps) where as fraps will half your fps.

I think as someone else stated, Alot of threads nowadays are just repeats of old threads and noone likes to sit repeating themselves

As the SA isnt out yet, people will refer to it as the SA and to the mod as DayZ because thats what is playable. Once the SA is released everyone will naturally start naming it 'DayZ' as it will be what every one is playing and if some one still plays the mod they will have to announce that it is the mod due to not wanting confusion.

I think they should scrap any ideas to do with party system, group spawning etc. Its fine how it is now. I think travelling the land without a map using communication and landmarks to find a friend more fun. Adds to the realism aside from just spawning next to a friend. Thing is you all want to be able to spawn with friends, but if it was implemented, one day you would be playing by yourself and you come up across 4 friends all spawning in together and then you would most likely be coming on the forum raging that it is unfair. So no, Leave the spawning etc as it is.
