I like it. Coming from a small scale competitive shooter (Metal Gear Online 2) I know what having a reputation can do. You did not want to be labeled as the guy who plays with hackers or boosts his stats because then you'd be the laughing stock reject in the community. But that game also had multiple characters so 'alts' became a big problem at some point. 1 name is enough for a game like DayZ. It does break the immersion of being a fresh survivor each time but that is a small price to pay I think -
I would recommend the Asus Xonar DG soundcard with whatever heaphones you go with. Currently using a Steelseries 7H headset, nothing to brag about. I guess it's decent for under a 100€. Next time I think I'll go with pricier Audio Technica headphones and perhaps a separate microphone

Yeah never flown a heli, seen a few but they needed repairing and I got shot before they were ready for take off

I'm running the same setup but with a 670 and normally my fps is above 40 but sometimes for no apparent reason it goes below 10 even in the woods.

Make the corpse get an infection say after 10-15 minutes? Touch the corpse and you risk getting an infection. You could have an indicator for the disease like more flies or a rotting corpse so if you come across a dead body you can tell it's risky to loot.

On Lingor with my buddy, looting the southern medium yield military camps we see a player named sergio. He runs off with a horde of zombies on his tail, my buddy asks should he fire? I said no, let him run. We check the camp and move east. Sergio takes a shot at me with an Enfield, I take cover. He goes after my buddy so I pump him full of lead with my AK. Should not have fired unprovoked at a group -
Your username suggests that you're only 14, so no thanks. Maybe once you're old enough to actually play the game

Only played for like 4 weeks now lol I like not having waypoints, on other servers it kinda became a crutch but now it's much more rewarding to get lost and navigate your way to wherever you wanted to go in the first place. -
Coming from a clan based game where me and my clan used to train sometimes I wouldn't say they're taking it too seriously. If you put hundreds of hours into a game at some point 'just for fun' doesn't cut it anymore. You want to be competitive and what better way to prep your clan than train?

How come I can't get the waypoints working with a map? Are they somehow disabled on this server? I see the dot on the map but no arrow pointing GO HERE. Not that I mind, it's fun being lost :D -

I think the zed damage makes it much more challenging, which is good. Now you have to sneak through towns if you plan on looting any residential buildings. Didn't have any trouble finding decent gear. An hour after spawning in Solnichniy I had an MP5SD6, Makarov, Tent, 10 cans of food, a map but hardly any tools. Died in Stary military tents when a zed knocked me out, but lucky for me my MP5 was stored in a tent. Gotta go see if it's still there tonight
