Need a good whitelisted, hacker free server! Probably a stupid question, but how can i find the server via DayzCommander? I've searched UK#10 and not found any servers.

Maybe this can be stickied for future people seeking help with making their own videos for youtube? Im paticularly new to Adobe Premiere, I recently exported a video I'd recorded and edited down to fit into 20 minutes. I exported it as an .FLV and set it to some resolution. But i play in max graphics settings and as you can see the video isn't. Can anyone help me? I'd like to export a video so It fits the entire width and height of the youtube player as well as keeping high quality (maybe even HD) and keep the file size low. You think your the only group that is fully geared in DayZ? Maybe someone joined the server, saw your stuff and thought they'd just be cruel and blow up your Ural, then they went off to carry on playing.

Each car should have a cassette, tape player. You could find cassettes around Chernarus that would include different songs. Russian folk/pop, soviet union era music.

If you find another new player along the coast, try to team up. Chernarus sure is a lonely place, makes for a lot better game when your with other guys. Dat tension not knowing who's going to betray who first.

Gamma/Brightness to max when at night. Not perfect but at least you can see more than just pitch black.

So i was in a high pop server the other day, think i died by zombies with some of the guys i play with while raiding somewhere. Spawned on the coast, was just walking around waiting to be picked up when a group of three bandits run up to me, one spawns a load of guns on the floor for his friend and they kill me. If he can hack and spawn weapons like that; What's the purpose of killing me? There are a lot of people on this game who obviously don't know about Call of Duty, you can play TDM on there.

Me and a friend were scoping out this guy on the big industrial chimney just outside of Electro, he had an AK and was looking at electro through his binocs. Wasn't a bandit but we were watching him to see what he did. Ended up rolling off the top and commited suicide. We went over and defended his body, another guy came over and was trying to steal his stuff, i knocked him unconcious with a shot to the stomach and told him not to steal the stuff. He woke up and ran off. Not long after the original guy who had died came back and we told him to get his stuff but he just ran off.. Was kind of strange.

Apparently you can get ill in DayZ? I didn't know. Well it should be easier to get ill. 20 minutes in the rain should cause you to get ill. A face sneezing icon could appear above all the icons along the right side indicating your now ill. It will cause: Half speed while running (Player also holds hands up to face like theyre breathing into them to keep warm) Slightly shaky while in first person aiming mode. Not unable to aim properly, just a nuisance. How to stop your character from catching a cold or to heal yourself. Wearing a coat will warm your character to neutral, thus healing him. Being in shelter will do the same. There could be a few different coats. Hiker rain coat. (Bright red, yellow ones. Ones you buy from normal Hiking shops, medium spawn rarity) Military poncho rain coat (A green hood and poncho styled rain coat, less noticable. Highly rare spawn)

Dean Hall has been tweeting in the last few days @ https://twitter.com/rocket2guns Seems he is giving Arma2 help and such. Which backs ups the idea that Bohemia want one last push for ARMA2 sales. And of course he could be honest, but this isn't some corrupt lie, he's helping the company that is getting his game developed. Nothing wrong with that. He might even have signed one of those contracts where he's not allowed to say something if it means losing sales for ARMA2. Think, if he said 'EVERYONE DAYZ IS GONNA BE OUT SOON DONT BUY ARMA2' That'd be bad. @K3lt, by 'Suck money out of us', you mean the 15 dollars or however much ARMA2 is now? Then yes. If you can't afford that maybe you should re evaluate your life.

Is anyone else having major problems with the forum? It sometimes takes me like half an hour of refreshing a thread to finally get it to load. Constantly getting 504 Gateway Time-out page. Threads with 50+ pages just won't load. People multiposting because the 'posting...' thing when you click 'post' is just continous. Forum needs serious work. I'll be surprised if this thread even gets posted... (lol, it didn't post. Had a SQL error or something. Went back and posting it again in an hour or so in the hope it will post)

Forum server seems a lot smoother now. Not had a single problem all day.

If we look at the events going on around at the moment we can easily evaluate what Bohemia are up to. It's quite simple. Rocket can't confirm when the game is going to be released because it profits them to have ARMA2 in the winter sale. DayZ is a huge profit to them and at the moment people will buy ARMA2 to get to it. So maximising profits for ARMA2 is a great way to get that last push for the financial year which ends in a few months. This will boost their stocks/shares and show that the last few years for them have been enormously profitable, they'll most likely do some presentations inhouse on how DayZ is the reason behind this. Which it is. They will then move to releasing DayZ standalone when the winter sale is over. Late January, perhaps early February (or maybe later to fit into 2013 fiscal year, which i believe is April) But i doubt that, as the profits of DayZ will continue through the year far past April. But if they release it too soon they risk having a huge drop of sales in 2013 compared to what they have made in 2012, afterall, It's all about impressing shareholders to gain more financial support in the upcoming years, It's difficult to keep both shareholder AND the player happy. It's a business, we can't tell them to release it early just because we want to play it, if their company ran like that they would be out of business and games like this wouldn't have a chance. This is a professional look at the situation and i hope it's helped calm down a few folks. Let's support Rocket/Bohemia/DayZ by purchasing DayZ when It's released. Purchasing ARMA2 while in the winter sale will also help. But the standalone will most likely be released shortly after. PS. GIMME YO BEANS.
