My longest would have been about a month/31 days. I dont quite remember, but I know I spent a while on a lingor server hoarding vehicles and organising ambushes on other groups. My longest confirmed life was only about 8 days, I died just a couple hours ago. I had NVGs, Rangefinders, Coyote backpack, full toolbelt, M4A1 Holo GL, an M9SD and I had racked up about 5 kills, 2 of them in the battle before I died. I was on a veteran Celle server with custom buildings, and was at a place modeled after the prison in TWD. It was night, I was outside the perimeter fence and saw two people running around inside at opposite ends of the prison. One came close to my end, and I killed him as he came up the stairs on the outside of a building. He had a smaw, NVGs and other goodies, of which I only took the NVGs, some drink and an Entrenching Tool. I saw who I presumed was his friend hiding to the side of a barracks building, and I could tell he knew where I was. There were a few awkward minutes in which I thought of a plan to take him out, and I eventually settled on grabbing the dead dudes smaw and running out and shooting him. It worked, but I was taken down to half health. I ran down to loot his body, and I came under fire from an LMG. I was down to a 1/4 of my health left, and took cover behind a wall, and I popped two shots off at him. A only couple of them hit, because he was a few hundred metres away. I stayed behind that building for about ten minutes, peeking out to take a shot at him. I never saw him once again, and I assume that he logged as I swear there was one less player online. I decided to stay behind a ridge, and see if he would pop out. After a minute, I was shot at down to flashing blood from behind. I could hear a DMR and an M4A1. I bandaged, but because of some lag (I assume) I died just after. After typing in chat, talking to the guys I'd killed, and who'd killed me, I found out that there were (out of the 6 individuals) only two were together, meaning that there were 4 players in the 600x600m area inside and around the prison, and a couple more just outside that! Over all, it was an rare satisfying death, and there were no hard feelings as far as I could tell.

IMO there are four types of bandits, in order of 'the most skill': 1-Highwaymen, they hold you up, steal yo' shit, and let you go mostly unharmed. 2-Bandits that take time and think before they kill someone: Checking whether they're in a good spot to ambush their victims, weigh their odds. 3-KOS bandits: Bandits that attack you as soon as they see you, mostly the type that hangs around the coast and spends their whole time battling in Cherno and Elektro. 4-Coast camping bandits: Those who attack fresh spawns who have next to no gear and cannot defend themselves properly. I consider myself the 2nd kind of bandit, although I am also friendly half the time.

When I first started playing DayZ I stuck to barns and kept away from cities, and it was boring as hell. I came back a month later, and had an awesome time. Been playing for six months since I came back, and none of that time was wasted.

So, I was wondering - what is your favourite DayZ forum sub forum? Do you like to search through the suggestions looking for the single original, good suggestion that appears in a page of listings? Or do you prefer to head over to the Bandit Campfire and read about some dude stealing some other dude's chopper? Personally, mine is the graveyard. The amount of idiots who post stuff in there makes me rofl. Vote for your favourite and post why below!

Fair point, but you need to think of WHY they were put there. They're generally terrible or stupid threads that have been grouped together for pretty much the same reason, and that is because they're all stupid. All of the stupid threads united together in the graveyard make the subject of the thread or their origins unimportant.

Glad to see the graveyard is coming out in front, although I expected to get the Discussion sub forums to get more votes.

In Takistan you'd have super low humanity.

When I kill another player, I USUALLY only kill them if they have something I need, or may have something I need. I generally never KOS and just try and find a good place to kill them.

Zombies spawn in fields now.

If I met Frankie ingame, and asked me to drop my weapon in that voice, I'd turn around and shoot him in the head if he didn't have god mode on.

It isn't the games term, it's Frankie's and Frankie fan's term. He is a great entertainer but he does so many things that pisses me off. ON TOPIC: Yeah, I agree that it was most likely fresh spawns who found the osprey loaded with weapons. Still seems pretty wierd that they couldn't go to the hospital themselves.

It's pretty annoying, he calls everyone who isn't a bandit, himself or JackFrags a bambi.

Small tips at the bottom of the loading screen is fine. Tutorials and ingame hints would make the anti-game just a regular game.

I'm the next complaint about duping and combat logging. Please remove them, they are bannable offences on almost every server, and are not accepted by the majority of the DayZ player/fanbase.
