Try defragmenting ur hard drive seems like the problem lies in that gl -if its os update, try also updating bios i believe a lot of amd cpus need good vios version to run well -

i think the items inside the bag dont carry over if u put the bag in the tent and then take it out. old experience, havent been playing dayz for a while, but ttats what i remember -
1. its standalone's one of the main priorities to PREVENT HACKING. 2. the current mod is free, and u paid for arma 2 not dayz 3. stop whining ~4. i feel ur pain

Decent PC getting stuttering (not low FPS)

it may be ur hard drive thats lagging u try using ramdisc, it uses a bit of ur RAM to make a local drive that handles flying speeds, put dayz mod files on it, and play dayz from there. stuttering is solved (for most cases). other than that, u really need to optimize ur game. playing arma 2 on highest settings is rather dumb :) i have i7 @stock 3.4ghz, gtx670 16gb ramm and i still turn those settings down as much as i can -

I think the standalone will address the issue of degradation by adding more (and more varied) car wrecks or other incidents all over the map there is also major work going on to create new textures for buildings insides, to provide a more apocalyptic look (blood smears, cracks, dirt, trash. broken furniture etc) the idea of overgrowth is very good imho dayz is in like around 5-20 years post infection, isnt it? -

AA + ATOC (which requires AA) looks really much better than without it that ofc at the price of few fps, but in my experience its not that much of a drop. edit: see above, im not the only one who thinks so lawl but yes, its definitely an advantage, purely gameplay wise, to have low settings. its a smart move to mix settings to give the best looks AND the best visibility -
