from what i know, all servers are pretty much the same in regard to the disappearing of items in tents/vehicles.

u can play on so called *sanctuary* servers that are not linked to official dayz hive. the character that u will have there will be new and ull be able to play it only on that particular server. check in names, usually itll be something unlike the usual dayz server name (ex: Mr. Winkie's Wanky World Dayz 1.7.2.5 etc) other than that, there is no possibile ways of having a 2nd character

fraps is allowed in any games i suggest u use dxtory instead of fraps (better performance, same quality)

i heard that editing scenecomplexity from 150000 to 100000 in arma 2 cfg files helps in most cases, but anyways the artifacts seem to be fixed now -
