the steam way shud be explained better u press W and hold it, then while still holding W u open up the steam overlay, ur char shud still keep on running even though steam overlay is on, when u take the overlay off, its still as if u were holding W, u can use alt and look around, to cancel that tap W again cheers -
go to populated serevrs, hope a hacker teleports all the players on that server and kills everyone including u lulz i dont know any other solution, although i think u can swim out of the debug ocean but that will take a long long time

http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php update - arma 2 beta patch download the on on top in green and install it go to ...arma 2 operation arrowhead/expansion/beta copy arma2oa.exe from there and paste it to arma 2 oa main dir replacing the existing .exe ure ready to play

one day ull just know all of the locations on the map lulz so map wont even be required at all up on that map is north, left is west, right is east, down is south cost is to the south if ure lost and u know ure not that far from coast its better to just run south untill u reach it and then its much easier to figure out where u r -

altho im afraid the optimization will visually all go to nothing because the standalone will have more zombies and players per map, so it might all balance out to current level of performance -

from all i know, the standalone is supposed to be by far better optimized than the current dayz so, hopefully, it will run better -
ure lucky u didnt spawn in debug ocean no emergency pick up services there :)

try using six launcher or try joining a server using the ingame browser if u still getting that error then there is some shit with ur dayz files or the game itself and u definitely need to reinstall either one of these or both. try deleting @dayz folder in arma 2 operation arrowhead directory and redownloading the mod files aagain after that, if the error persists, reinstall the game

maybe not better, but certainly wont be worse i know AI takes a lot in singleplayer, but zombies are AI too -
lulz we all someday reach the point when this game is no longer fun if u play it in a conventional way such threads are result of that magic "point"
