Textures are one of the easiest things to replace on a model so I hope you turn out to be wrong (for the right reasons ofcourse!) :) I really like the model and would love to take her for a spin. Great job OP!

So, if I understand correctly, when you launch DayZ through DayZ Commander it just starts up Arma 2 OA with the singleplayer and multiplayer options? I don't think your key was stolen or banned unless you used some program to improve FPS or other stuff but if that was the case, there's nothing we can do to help. Anyway, I think something else is the matter here and it may have to with administrator rights in Windows.

As I thought. Try to start Arma 2 and Operation Arrowhead first, just enter the Main Menu and exit. After that, DayZ should work again.

Did you remove Arma 2 and Operation Arrowhead when you stopped playing DayZ? Try running Arma 2 and Operation Arrowhead first, then try to start DayZ again.

You do not understand what Vilas wants unless I misunderstood him myself. He does not necessarily want to make money but if you're making money (through donations) by using his mods, he would like a share of that. He has also stated that if you use his mods without accepting donations, he doesn't have a problem with that and would let you continue to do so. I wonder how the whole discussion would've gone if he hadn't mentioned Origins, it seems to be sort of a buzzword to get some people here riled up and logic seems to fly out the window. Razor has a point though, he should contact the mod creators and sort it out with them as there's nothing people here can do. -

Nice :) I like it when people use their imagination to add extra depth to the games they play. If you take the history that Arma gives you and use it for the background of DayZ it becomes a pretty sad story.

Listen to JD Freeman, he speaks wise words :) They were added in one of the latest patches. -
Even if there was a way to fake your ping, it would not make the game more playable. Having a high ping means that the data being sent and received by your computer takes longer to get there. If you are on wifi, you might want to try using a cable connection instead or try connecting to another server that's closer to you.

Thanks, the rest of the devblog left me very pleased so I won't let it bother me. I understand the animation restrictions I think, arms clipping through bodies and stuff. especially with the different clothes, backpacks etc. so it's probably a good thing that he pretty much confirmed it :) Still leaves us with enough fun to be had by the looks of it. I do wonder about the damage system though, do you have to hit vital spots to kill people or can you just perforate someones hand and kill them that way? -

Regarding the handcuffs / bound state, I would really like to be able to run with handcuffs. It allows you to escape your captors when the time is right and just imagine running across a handcuffed survivor, what would you do? The wiggling free stuff could be bound to the fire button, as you can't really do much else while cuffed. Another thing that would be cool is adding the move where you step over your hands so they're not on your back anymore.
