I'd like to be considered, what would I have to do to prove my innocence of hacking?

First of all, everyone is a survivor, and there should be no distinction otherwise, everyone has his own way to survive and that's that. What a bandit is known as is someone who survives by killing other players for their supplies Douches are people who only kill for fun.

To all those saying how the victim will become a bandit now, I would bet against it. The player had great (best) gear and went to a place like Elektro. You don't get that gear without knowing what you are getting into, and if he didn't go into Elektro to kill, then he went in to help people. It's true, killing someone in this game is great fun, and is a rush, but those that have played longer (or dare to try, as this one did) realize that it is even more of a rush to risk your own safety and gear and actually help survivors. That's exactly what happened to me. Now I just stay in Cherno/Elektro with medical supplies attempting to aide people in whatever way I can.

Wasteland, its an honor ;) I'm a big fan of what you do, and maybe someday I will follow in your own footsteps and make Cherno a better place for everyone :)

So recently I have been getting a bit bored with dayz, so I though "hey, why not go and be a bandit? That sounds fun." So I took my M24 to Cherno and got in a good spot overlooking the city, then I see a lone survivor, clearly coming in off the coast with no guns, crawling past zeds, from 500 meters away I let loose a shot, and sure enough, he slumped over and I realized I looked and saw I had a murder on my counter. Immediately afterwards I realized what a douchey thing that was, and so, Brandon, from some Atlanta server, I'm sorry. Please forgive me. But now I have a new goal: preventing this from happening to others. As such I now intend to hunt bandits, especially along coastal areas, and help as many people as I can. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has thought of this, but nonetheless, I've made my choice. Truth, justice, and the american way and all that.

Satchel charges are in now, I believe.
