People are now using anti cheat programs that auto kick you for possessing guns that arent on the loot table. I 100% support this, so i would advise on not using them.

The salute already is the "sign of friendlyness". Its also a sure fire way to get yourself killed. Pressing q and e alternatively will do the "wiggle dance". That works and you can still fire if needed.

To save yourself a bit of money, you don't need to buy Combined Ops again. Just by Operation Arrowhead and you'l be good to go again. There's a lesson to be learned here...... I usually go to the expansions menu while running the beta.exe from the arma 2 OA folder, and disable dayz (You may have to manually download a beta patch to have this executable).. If that doesnt work for you, Just make a new folder on your desktop, and move all mods from your arma 2 OA directory into that file. Move them back when you wanna play dayz again :)

This will be adressed in the stand alone. For now consider counting slots as mathematic revision :P

You can clearly see the bullet impacting behind the head of pilot. I smell a hack, as i have shot through chopper windscreens with a few different guns in one shot.

This^^^ There is no random car exploding bug. You either crashed into something at high speed, or got shot with an as50.

I see no reason why chernarus is to blame for alt f4 pussys. It happens to me on all maps. Rather pointless rant thread.

I would honestly look into buying a whole new setup. Pentium 4 were out like 10 years ago so its likely not upgradable to dayz's level

I was in the beginning stages of making my own survival horror game type on arma 2 free. Some guy joined while we were testing and said "Man, this has nothing on dayz".

If that is actually happening. That's not cool. What about the other possible 49 people on that server that will lose heli's, cars, gear from that rollback.

Also suggested a million times, and also publicly refused by rocket :P I even suggested a "tyrant" style badass zombie myself when i was in my more naive dayz days.

OP is bang on the money. A bandit will be creative and kill only those that may possess gear that is useful to them. A murderer will sit in elektro with an as50 counting his murders. There is a massive difference.
