Done all of the above Sky mate iv been here since the beginning (as mentioned, did you read it backwards lol :p?) with the exception of bounty hunting as thats no longer possible with the current skin situation. Id just be hunting everyone and therefor going against everything iv worked to achieve. thanks for your input though :) Perhaps when factions are released, buildable forts/bases could be implemented using those big packs of 2X4 planks i see so much of. Just an idea :)
I honestly straight up have never even seen a silenced weapon other than an M9SD once that had no ammo. I dont think the drop rate of the ammo should be lowered either as the actual weapon spawns are so rare. (btw iv been around since the start of DayZ)
Crouch running is no more exhausting than running. I use it as part of my mma training. It is however harder to maintain if your leg and lower back muscles aren't used to the strain it causes. Due to the many, many miles our characters run every day id say they are up to the task :)
Hey iv got a crazy idea !! Why dont you post in the right forum with your suggestions. I know crazy right :O One guy even got a nice reply from rocket on his idea rather than having it lost in this endless thread that no one reads :) Let the developers get on with it and stop asking for things. Cant wait to see the new mocap zombies !! Excited !!
A nice idea but it seems rocket is already ahead of you on this one mate :) As for the guy who wanted red and blue hats that's just crazy talk. Why not have a flashing blue ambulance light on our heads as well ! Sorry man but that would make everyone stand out literally like a sore thumb and only make the pvp situation worse.
Couldnt agree more with the subject of this thread. NO were not carebears we just dont want to kill every single guy we come across. I absolutely loved the balance of this mod two weeks ago and now the odds are HEAVILY stacked on the side of the "bandit" type players. My only hope is that this new skins update is merely a stepping stone of what is to come, because right now DayZ is fucked :S
These game types are strongly reccomended to new comers on the dayz scene. I played them for a while and edited and scripted my own versions to be a 20 player co-op blood frenzy with up to 1/2000 kills racked up in the end :) great fun to play with friends and fully editable when you grasp the editor and script commands! Oh and to the dude that was struggling with the tower part, run like a mofo to the tower and get inside.
I have read through all the posts on this topic just to see what peoples veiws are on this matter, and as i expected they are the same as mine. Dont get me wrong i love the physics of the game. Constantly looking over your shoulder and freezing when you hear gunshots around you. Thats suspense at its best! But with the removal of bandit skins chernarus has gone haywire. Zombie crisis has been sidelined and now everyone thinks the games main directive is to be a backstabbing murdering bastard that "kills for beans". The main problem at the min is bandits got a huge + with this last update, as they can now pose as survivors and shoot u in the back as soon as u trust them. So in light of this iv had an idea which may solve all these problems in one and it doesnt mean changing much at all. Why not make the normal servers have friendly fire on (in effect PvE) and the hardcore servers stay as they are ? That way everyone gets the experience they want from DayZ. Another idea i had (though im almost positive this wont be possible but il throw it out there) was to have PvE for all survivors (Friendly fire on so they cant shoot eachother) that havnt picked up a lootable skin. But on picking up that skin they are then no longer survivors and FF is now disabled for them and their adversaries (in effect bandits). Thanks for reading this, Delta
