I think they are shit. Very shit. They are rife with bandits and are constantly reset. Meaning everyone starts over. Hackers are all over them. I met a hacker on one and he spawned himself a huey just like that. He spawned me a m4a1 cco sd and i said wow thanks ! then shot him in the face and blew up the huey. Bad idea and its against the flow of the project.

As rocket mentioned MPgaming servers in his recent presentation at rezzed, i had high hopes of them. Made a camp and found a motorbike on "DayZ :: UK -" server. Me and my clan had found a new home server. It was bliss. Server goes down for 2 days (still in the list but passworded). Log back in and everything is gone. Shit do. We decided to take it on the chin and move servers as it may be a server problem. Still having high hopes for MPgaming we moved onto "DayZ :: Acorn 01" server. We moved all the way north to the same spot. Grabbed a tent and low and behold our bike was where we found it on the other server. Great stuff. We moved it to our camp and when we get there BOOM. Server goes down. When its back up its been rolled back 30 mins. Moved the bike back up and the same happens again, and again, Also just now as i checked it again.and it rolled back after just 2 mins. Just as the admin left the server. Im not reporting this as admin abuse. I just want an explanation of what is going on, as we have put a lot of time and effort (and money as i donated to keep it up and running) into these servers and the stuff we have at camp is not so easyly found again. Thanks.

I use the respawn button from time to time but not to get to cherno or elektro. I use it to get to my friends faster (mostly dont know their arse from their elbow). I dont see how this is harming anyone so i cant agree with your post. Respawn menu however isnt a bad idea.

I like the idea but im going to suggest a mod of your idea ander. Place them at military camps as scenery (non player usable). To prevent people server hopping straight in to say...the barracks at NWA and the military camp at stary. The idea of lugging it around taking up precious loot space means people with vehicles are the only ones likely to use them.

Since changing to 1.7.2 i have noticed than none of the things in change log actually worked. This is a list of what i noticed (before i ended up in wasteland without enough drink to get back, resulting in the loss of all my uber gear and likely my tents and motorbike too) 1) The hatchet still required reloading (and placing to the toolbelt and re equipping or it wouldn't reload) 2) Zombies did not run in buildings (read lots of whining posts about it not being fair. I was excited. It doesn't happen) 3) I still logged in with a full magazine having fired over half when i played last 4) Inspection of player corpses still did not display the cause of death (using latest beta patch) 5) Did not see one bear trap as we were on our travels around chernarus on a motorbike. 6) Zombies still seemed to hear me through buildings while crouch walking. Anyone else noticed these ? please post any feedback you can as i am curious what the crack with 1.7.2 is. Thanks

As the most successful mod ever released i seriously doubt it will die out. Watch rockets REZZED event presentation if your clueless as to what comes next. He has some cool things in store for us :D

Thanks guys for the explanation :) I think i will again move to a different server until your's is up and running again. Perhaps you could post on the forum or pm when when its sorted and il come join you guys for some fun :) Me and my buddy also experienced major desynching yet somehow managed to live through it. One was where we were cruising around on the bike as you do then all of a sudden we were in a shed in polana lol :s Another weird one was i logged out near novoy and logged back in next to the barracks at the nw airfield unable to shoot/aim or run. I lived and got a dmr out of it but man was it annoying running back. My in game name is Haslam and my buddys is Bytepirate. Again thanks for explaining lads many admins would have just shrugged it off :)

my 2 cans of coke were not enough for the journey sadly :( Going to wait till tomorrow and get my buddy to save all my tents n my motorbike before i respawn lol

It gives a valuable insight as to what he plans to do with the mod, both in the short and long term. Good stuff rocket !! 7 shots' date=' though I have about 15+ mags. You are missing out on the Elek rave parties. Ghillies, flares, .50 cals, L85's, nvgs, running around throwing and picking them up. Come get our gear. :) The game doesn't give credit 100% of the time, it happens. :) You can see 4 death messages in game if you read the chat. I even went through the trouble to print screen it for you. Such a nice guy! 15 mags eh. Try convincing anyone that you didnt server hope to get these. That said, this was fun to watch. Not the brightest of idea's sorry mate. Whats the point of moving far north if ur gonna be somewhere random when you spawn in. Not up for finding my clan again every time i play so this is a hugeeee -1 from me.
