    Exactly what dayz should NOT be like. Another game. Yes that game looks half descent, but its nothing new. Looks like Resident evil Gun surviver on roids. Dayz is like nothing before, and will grow to set the mark for survival horror. Just you wait.

    By the sounds of it your switching between sanctuary and official servers. They do not store the same data. Stick to official ones that say only DayZ in the mission column.

    You need to download the arma 2 OA official patch 1.60 before you do anything mate. Go the the arma 2 website and grab it.

    It takes about 30 mins to run there if you dont stop. Just head straight north out of cherno untill you hit vishnoy, take the right hand road out to stary sobor, then north west to nw airfield.

    Expert bandit you are not. Server hopped and ghosted 3 guys. Intentional or not its still ghosting. Also i dont believe your story because it has one flaw. You say your wheel was shot out and thats why you stopped. Yet the bandit drove away in your car. Without a vid to back it up i call bullshit.

    Heli loot can be only one gun + ammo box. We found 2 last night with a bizon sd and nvgs, Then fn fal with nvg's. Loot can also appear slightly under the heli. Me n my bud found a dmr at one. Already had a m24 so i left it. Against what my brain was telling me i went back. Found a m249 SAW tucked under the left side of the nose. Jackpot ! A good tactic is to lie down and roll around like a fool to flatten the grass. Making it easyer to spot the loot.

    They do it for the simple fact of knowing you cant take their gear after you kill them. Its what plagues this game at the moment sadly :(

    Its a game of emotion. It will make you laugh. It will make you sad to see your best pal being eaten by zombies after being sniped in the leg. It will make your heart pound when your fighting for your life against bandits. Its the most dynamic game i have ever played. All in all its worth its weight in gold.

    I had a camp on a multiplay server with 4 tents. We left due to server instability issues with 1.7.2.1. Came back a week later and all is how we left it. We had both died several times during this duration.

    +1 good idea! Not too long ago a noob i was helping along the coast travelled with me for an hour or so. Only to end up shooting me with my own makarov while i had my torch out >< Silly bugger didnt kill me though, just a slight ko. A clip of ak in his face while he was attempting to loot me had the desired effect. Lesson learned :D

    I live in the uk so id be pissing in the wind if i went looking for a gun. My blunt old samurai would have to do. Wouldnt last long on just the supplys in my house either so escape would be on the agenda within the week. Id probably have a long hard think about where i could get the biggest vehicle and how id get the keys without causing too much noise. Then id head for the coast and hope for a boat of some kind to reach one of the small islands that are close to the coast of britain. Iv had this planned out for years lol sad but true.

    A lot of servers have been having this same crash. Rollback sucks. Really though accusing someone of cheating when you clearly cheated yourself is stupid. Posting his camps location on a public forum is bullshit. Your a **** for doing that.

    I dont shoot noobs. If when im up north i see a guy with a sniper rifle i put him down. Nothing personal but it only takes a second for him to do the same just for the lols or for the same reason i shot him. Im not losing my gear that easy :P Im on 4 murders at the moment (one was my friend that stepped infront of my cz >< and one was a server hopper at the nwaf barracks) so that leaves 2 murders that i had to commit in order to ensure my survival. Shit happens. We do what we must to survive. I do cooperate a lot if the situation allows me to talk with them. If not its whoever has the quickest trigger.
