It should be disabled. People rolling with this on their servers along with name tags are not playing the game propperly.

What he means is only use six updater tp update datz/beta. R click your preset in six and launch the game. I never join games from six. I use the normal arma list for that.

From what youv said it sounds like they are simply taking loot from the truck and not saving it. This isnt a cheat atm its a fuck up in the game itself.

Cant believe people still dont know what end game content is. It is not the end of the game. It is content for those that have achieved their goals and want more.

Ok so here's the thing. I love pvp in DayZ. Shootouts are often epic and even after your sniped in the cranium, you sit back and say "that was awesome". But the killing of fresh noobs annoys me. Your killing off the community kill by kill. Im not saying punish bandits or any of that BS. Im saying would it be so hard to let these noobs running in circles on the beach live and die by other means, as in NOT your as50? Let them learn what they need to compete with the rest of us. Hell, maybe they want to become bandits themselves. But by their own choice. Not by them getting shot and hacked up within 2 mins so many times they think they must shoot all players. Iv been around since the beginning and have watched the community nose dive. I have no problem at all with how the game is now. Infact id go as far as saying i love it. Give the noobs a break and leave the coast alone. REAL men fight in the north. Bring back honour amongst bandits and bring back meaningful kills.

I have a 2gb nvidia gtx 680 and i didnt notice a boost. Hunting for a fix for my card as its easily good enough to run the pants of arma 2. Yet i still cant run maximum settings (Have to have interface resolution on 1900x1020 and 3d resolution on 1680x945) or my fps drops below 30. Thanks for your time.

Id like to see infected being slower than their current "Roadrunner" like speeds, yet more numerous and in packs. Loot i think is spot on so no changes there. Was no option for this so i didnt vote.

On a more OP related note. I have played around with the 360 pad that works as standard with the game. The inventory is a nightmare and must be done with the mouse. Kinda defies the point if you ask me. Also i ran out of buttons and had to sacrifice a few things. Keyboard and mouse is the way mate. Arma 2 vanilla can be played with the pad with ease, but dayz's constant use of inventory and compass and such things limits it massively.

The guy asked for help and advice. You launched a needless verbal assault on him and were rightly warned. End of, stop crying about it. Your endless tears will not take back the warning.

Also your interface resolution and 3d resolution must match or be 1 setting apart to see clearly. That + postprocessing off will clear it up for you :)

FN Fals can spawn at military camps. Seen a few in stary in my time.

Playing on your own makes you the "Sam Fisher" or the "Solid Snake" of the DayZ world. Keep that in your mind, check your corners and try not to trail zombies about as that makes you an obvious target. Listen for footsteps while your looting and you should prevail. Grab minimum supplys like an axe and a pistol. A few cans of food and drink and high tail it outa there !

If i were you id focus more on helping noobs with no guns. If you choose to hold your fire when a guy see's you, your gonna die. Lay low and prioritize noob spawners with your help. Its the best thing you could do and the only thing that will have an effect on your servers banditry levels.

K so i logged on acorn 01 today and our ultra ninja stashed tent and motorbike were gone. Fair enough a tractor is easyly found (thats why we stashed it 2 miles from our tent n bike) but the others were so well hidden in the middle of no mans land that i doubt they were found. Anyone else lost anything on acorn 01 ? Think the admin updated the beta and now i cant get in without battleeye kicking me after a minute or 2. Any advice would be great.

K so iv decided to make this post as the guy who posted it origionally forgot to post his link to the download. Here is how i did it manually. No download needed. http://community.bis.../wiki/arma2.cfg I can confirm this works 100% I now have 60 fps everywhere i go on full settings with matching 1900 x 1020 resolutions. I did it manually, follow these steps. 1) Go to C/documents/ARMA 2 and edit the arma2OA file with notepad. 2) At the bottom is the option PPAA=0 and PPAA_level=0 change this to one of the values explained in the link above and click file and save. 3) disable antialiasing in the games video settings and match the reolutions to the one you use. 4) enjoy :D

I thought this but i dont see the setting for it ? Found it since i updated to latest beta nps Thanks change my op to match.

Cant get in my home server for more than 2 mins without being kicked by battleEYE. Anyone know how to fix it ? I and the server are using the same beta client. Im clueless at this point. Thanks.

Tent was +2 miles away from camp. Not even in the same area. No it wasnt out of the map mate, just a nice stash place i know of that isnt viewable unless you are literally 2 meters away. Perhaps it will appear with a restart thanks for the feedback guys :)

1.7.1.3 has been out almost a week now. Up to now it was perfectly stable. I think the beta patches are more to blame.

The game is a pvp shooter and always was. Like me there are friendlys but pvp will always be here. Its a big part of the game.

Sound like someone nuked your server.

I think its a good idea. Itas not going as far as a punishment. But it is a consequence. Good stuff.
