I recently tested this out. We had a lot of supplies between 3 of us. Heli loot, meds, food+drink and various car parts. Given that a primary takes 10 slots i counted 70 slots taken up before the items we put in were vanishing. Iv seen videos of peoples camps that had many more primaries in theirs. Not sure how it works tbh mate this is jus my guide line that i follow on tents. Would be nice to see some more feedback on this. Thinking about it now, the items we were putting in were a lot of single items, like nvg's range finders. map, compass, toolbox. Stuff like that, and that may be why we filled it so fast . It is possible that items stack in tents, and in doing so dont take up any more slots than the origional. Just a theory can anyone confirm?

Read the interview again or research more of them. The one i read was quite detailed and when asked if it would have traditional mmo gameplay such as quests and level ups he said no. Far from it. Even the skill tree that people are so quick to slam, will be small things, survival skills. Such as how long it takes you to create a fire, or how long it takes you to reload and / or unjam your weapon.

If there is something wrong with the patch, you shut it down. You do NOT lock it. NOTHING can be fixed while it is locked. If theres a problem you close it down. There are no rules saying you cannot close your own server down. Hope that is clear enough to you half brain celled idiots. This kind of thing is used to farm loot and vehicles before other players get a chance and is absolute bullshit. We all play one way and thats that. Judging by the zombie to player kill ratio id say hes killed 80% fresh spawns. Which is no mean feat. The lack of video evidence also makes me come to this conclusion.

There have been hackers on every singler private hive iv ever been on. FACT. Iv seen ppl dropping ammo crates and spawning anything you want in them. Iv seen tanks, attack heli's and jets. Worst of all the location hack. That gives away every single player and vehicles position on the map. Iv never encountered a hacker on official servers. Soooo yea, i use private hives to hone my combat skills. That is all

Here's a wild idea. Stop thinking the game is yours. Stop stereotyping it with the use of the the only other zombie game you can think of. True some of the above dont fit DayZ, but some are being implemented in the longrun and the train idea doesnt sound half bad aslong as you have to fix it up yourself. All in all you are right. I had a very similar setup to you a few months back before i splashed out on a new rig. I ran it on normal settings (tab on the right of the basic display options) and then tweaked some others like object detail n textures a bit higher. Gave me like 40 fps and still looked nice :) A;sp check your nvidia control panel and make sure that anything that CAN be set to "application controlled" or "let application decide" is set to that setting. Anything like antiailiasing set to x16 on your control panel with fuck things up in game as it is not supported. Turn AA off in game settings and you should be fine to stream/ record and play.

LOL this happened to me today on a sanctuary server though and i had no gear worth being bothered about. Still laughed though when i came back to my half eaten character with 100 blood. I was in the hills between elektro and kamyshovo. Where they came from i do not know lol. My best guess was they heard/saw me at one point, and because i didnt leave the area, continued to investigate the scene. Oh look a bush with a backpack and an axe! Lets eat it !

I Have top drawer luck with heli crash sites. Seems to always be that bit of kit that has eluded me. Barns however are full of axes and crossbows......Did the entire lumberjack and russian olympic crossbow team all have a barn rave on apocalypse night ? Who knows......

running an i5 and a single gtx 680, 8gb ram and an ssd. I can run full settings with hdr dropped one to high. This is after much system tweaking on my end though PM me if your having issues with the gtx 680 as nvidia cards or not optimized for this game as much as radeon cards.

Its lag. The server takes a second to catch up sometimes. Making zombies appear to still be alive after you shot them. I can assure you the m1911 is a one shot kill on zeds still. I would suggest joining a server closer to you with lower ping.

I thought about this but to no avail. This could easily be exploited by using an unarmed player to scout for targets and snipers.

You only use it at night :o What a crying shame its in your hands and not mine :( The thermal scope can be used in whatever conditions and is the fastest and best way to identify targets at any range !! Only used at night ohhhh dear.
