Says me. There's a big difference to being a "bandit" and being a "shitbag". Im a bandit, not the latter. Let me explain. Bandits aim to kill better geared players to take for themselves. Bandits set up ambushes in and around high population military zones, mainly to jack vehicles. Bandits look for and then raid camps, killing anyone who happens to be in the area. "shitbags" shoot noobs in elektro and pretend to themselves thaty they are the bandit god.

The AS50 and the m107 specifically are not all that good. Cant be used with NVG's and they are useless at close range. YES they can fire up to 1800 meters but hey, if you get hit from that range only you are to blame for standing still for 5 seconds in the open. In my opinion the DMR is far more useful.

You make a good point. Killing the unarmed or sparing his life is your choice. It may later save your life. Staying in that area though, and preying on fresh spawns simply to add +1 to your murders, is a pathetic attempt at banditry indeed..

'Being a bandit' does not include hunting noobs in starter towns. That comes under 'being a shitbag'. Move on to the north and make a video of that. If respect is what you were aiming for here, you lose.

Hi guys. Had many many bad experiences on servers i have donated to keep afloat. Likely spent my money on crack and the servers gone a week later. Anyways im hoping the bandit community can suggest me and my two squad mates a decent server, and perhaps to join their clan if they meet our playtimes and playstyles. We are all from the UK. We Currently run as a 3 man squad. We are extremely well geared. We play in a hardcore pvp style. We only kill players in the north. We have taken many a vehicle via roadside ambush, Had a chopper (that i can fly like a baws) for a while that we stole while raiding a huge camp, it vanished on server restart :( So above all we just want a server that isnt a waste of time and effort. We are going to rent our own at some point but options for good hosts are limited in the uk atm. If a good one is offered we will chip in to keep it going. Thanks. Delta. Every time i see "i dont want to pay for this" it makes my eyes literally bleed. I still think this is one of the best games i have EVER played, even if it is full of cheats and hackers. So you died to a hacker? and what ? Just go to your tent and resupply.

Sounds like you joined a server that wasnt using the same beta as you. Happened to me other day. I had all my uber gear though thank god, was just in kamenka from the NW.

Atm im packing the following. 1x DMR , 2 mags 1x L85A2 AWS (never leave home without it). 2 mags 1x Revolver as it seems to have more range than the m1911. 2x Bloodbag, painkillers, morphine. 3x Waterbottle 5x Cooked steak, i like to keep these handy. 1x Bear trap. 1x Ghillie suit. ALL Tools inc rangefinder,gps and nvg's. A few cans of coke/pasta.

People moan and cry for rocket to release the patch, when he finally caves in to the tears of the masses the response is "he shouldnt have released this patch". May this be a lesson to you all. Patience is a virtue.

My logic is that it shouldnt be there in the first place. What i think is irrelevant as im just a player like everyone else. In a real life similar situation you wouldnt be able to talk to everyone, or have them talk to you from miles away. If you team up use vent/ts/mumble. Side chat is not needed, and for the most part, not wanted either.

Hi guys. A friend of mine just updated to 1.7.2.5/beta 95883 and he cant get in any servers. It gives him the message wrong signature for file addons/editor .pbo. Anyone else had this problem and know how to fix it ? Im a forum moderator so i see a lot of posts, and this is a first for me. Thanks. Delta.

Stand alone IS the solution to hacking. If you had read practically any post by rocket on this matter you'd know the situation.

Il agree it probably incouraged a bit more grouping. But also encouraged bandits to come and kill you just for the sheer fact that they dont wanna listen to you and a friend spamming "ok crawl", "town ahead" and such. I get what your saying mate but global did nothing but annoy me while it was active.

So this is another one of those "remove the things i dont like threads" /sigh

Please dont dismiss and hate on suggestions that make perfect sense. Just because it is a blatant rip off of something on BF3 doesnt mean its a bad idea. If i had i knife and could do it, i would.

Servers can have side chat enabled. It destroys the point of feeling alone until you run into people though so im happy with it disabled. In my experience of DayZ since the mod began, iv come to the conclusion that it is pointless anyway. I mean, all that is ever said in global channels is "who is shooting in elektro/cherno", people arguing over pathetic things and going on about it for hours, breaking others immersion with their walls of text, and people bitching because someone killed them. That and it makes life a doddle for bandits while your telling your mate to meet you in stary, he sets up a sniper position and ruins your day.

While it is a nice weapon, I dont see the point of adding a new assault rifle. Especially one that isnt even in the arma 2 (afaik). Id like to see more low tech weaponary in DayZ.

We dont deal with Global bans. Thats battleyes job. Try battle eye support and if you are innocent they will know.
