Hotfix Build 1.7.2.6 Rolling Update

People complaining that tents are popping back up on server restarts after being destroyed. No one at any point ever said they wouldn't. This hotfix was released to make tents and vehicles functionable again. They are now returned to the current state they were in before they broke, with a bonus of tents being able to be placed anywhere now. I double saved my tents and one saved, one didnt. So yeah, the fix was a success. -

100% Chernarus. It fits the scene of a zombie apocalypse and i kinda relate to it after seeing and loving 28 Days Later and The Walking Dead. Lingor has more of a Dead Island feel to it, and i hate those god damn barrack doors that a man has to spaz around for a minute to fit through! -

Proud of you guys for not instantly saying "Powerups? Go back to wow blah blah". OP makes an excellent example of comparison here. Bottom line being, its a game of skill and wit. Failure results in death and loss. Success results in life and reward :) Btw i remember a game with hexagons as a map and figures to represent players. What was that ? PSX game or something lol ? -
I have had a few of these incidents :) 2 killed me, 1 my friend killed us both, and 1 instance where i went completely deaf in game for 3 hours straight.

Your friend talks **** mate. Everyone gets low frames in cherno. Im running an absolute beast of a pc and it still affects me. -
There is no skill in sniping in cherno or elektro. All your killing is unarmed noobs and axe men. Go to stary or the NWAF, that way you may actually get a reward for your kill instead of a bandage.

There is no need for a kill count. All it does is give people an incentive to run around killing noobs while saying to their friends on TS yeaaaa im 10 and 0 !! Dont get me wrong, im a bandit myself. But i dont kill just to have a higher number that no one else can see. -
Hehehe to be fair i would have shot frank as well. To me that would look like someone coming to jack my jeep, and we cant risk that now can we !

Yes it is safe. and no you will not get your CD key stolen. Hackers do not have access to your reg files while you are in game.Dont download anything that isnt on six updater(dunno about commander i dont use it)and you will be fine. All of the posts you are seeing about hackers getting ppl banned and such, are rumours made by the hackers to cause people to panic. All of this is a result of battleye scoring a major win of 2000 hackers banned yesterday. -
We all do everything OP does on a daily basis mixed with PVP, looting, heli hunting and vehicle repair. The point im trying to get across is, if he doesnt do any or the fore mentioned things, what does he do once he fills canteens and shoots a cow?

You "killed the snipers". If by this you mean you have mastered the art of pvp, you are greatly mistaken. There is always a clan, squad or lone wolf out there that will put you in your place. Search for the one who we spartans say will give you your "beautiful death"

This is like the 10th time i have seen threads like this claiming innocence for themselves or friends. Every single one turned out to be bullshit. Yes battleye sometimes makes mistakes. But it knows when it does and quickly undo's its error. -

Sounds like your computer hasnt detected that you are running combined ops. Are both arma 2 and arma 2 OA in the same bohemia folder on your C drive (or wherever you put them). This could be the problem. If all else fails reinstall both games and dont change the default path. For me it was C\Program files x86\Bohemia interactive\ -

Yes you can, although you will need to launch the beta patch .exe file from your bohemia folder. I use this all the time and just use six to update. You can also make your own custom .exe with six updater. -

The only ones you cant use are the small white ones. They are propane gas if i recall correctly and are useless. :) -
I lost my 31 day old character last night. I had an L85 AWS, NVG,GPS,Rangefinder,DMR + literally everything a guy could ever want. Hacker killed me and my friend. Then to add insult to injury he turned up at my new spawn in balotta and broke my legs with my own gun. He clearly showed me that he had all my gear then teleported away. It suck big time but you gotta pick yourself up and go again. It would have only happened via legit means at some point down the line.
