I don't have a problem with either Mac or Windows... I have a iMac, purely because they are better for more high end graphic designing and are generally more appealing to the eye, whereas I find a PC not so nice. HOWEVER, don't worry. I have a PC too! I will openly admit that there is possibly no good reason why the iMacs are so overpriced, considering like someone mentioned earlier, you can build your own one that is equal/slightly better for half the cost. But the main reason I bought my iMac was because of the smooth feel and finish it had to it, as well as the really easy to use OS. I used to speak ill of Macs like some people have said on here before, but until I got on one and tried it, I found that Macs are really quite amazing. I WAS BOUGHT UP A PC USER, so I know a lot about building my own PC and hardware etc... Building your own PC is more effect, efficient and cost much much less. Anyway, I still think OS X is better for what I do, but obviously it will vary for what people will be using them for:)

I totally agree with you man, following up on all these riddles (sorry for bad spelling, its late) people should stop trying to figure them out and just wait for the actual thing. PEACE

I do think it is slightly unfair for him to actually say, and I will quote: "Will be giving everyone an update on DayZ status this week for sure!" This was his actual words on his twitter post, which can be found at: Now, do tell me If I sound slightly harsh on rocket, but getting peoples hopes up isn't such a good leadership move. PERSONALLY, I don't mind if he doesn't make an update, I just want to see the game when its ready for some testing, but until then, I think rocket should NOT write these "false" posts. HOWEVER, ​the day is still not yet over, he could be writing a MASSIVE paragraph for us to read right as we speak (VERY UNLIKELY) but it could still happen in the... Two hours left of the day (UK Timing). Nevertheless, just don't think about the game or release dates. When there is an update, you WILL hear about it. Just chill and play some games.

I think the intensity of this game release is getting to everyone... :P

The way I see it, and many people will agree, is that if he was to delay the release from this year to next, he would have made an announcement about it. However, the complete silence from public posts from him could well mean that there is no delay. The way I thought about it, and still do think about it is, he has just been abroad to see his family etc... This could be a result of him about to release the game, and wanting to see his family before he is head over heels with word to do on the ALPHA. In this thought, he could be going to see his family because he knows hes not going to have much time to, after the release because he is in another completely different country) which means now he is back, he has nothing else to worry about other than patching the last few "hacking" issues before its release. As he did mention in a video presentation I watched on YouTube, that solving the hacking "crisis" is his main focus. Which is what we all wanted for the DayZ MOD. There is a picture on a couple of pages back on this post of someone having a conversation with rocket over Facebook, and he did say he is jet-lagged and will make an announcement "soon". I will edit in the picture. So this explains the reasoning behind the lack of words on the forum about ANYTHING to do with the standalone. BUT, you can go to the official blog (www.dayzgame.com) and wait for a new post on there about the updates. That's what I have been doing for the last couple of months.
