I've had this a few times... butim the one who couldn't die basically I was shot but on the ground and not totally dead... so I could still talk on direct comms and asked the guy to drag my body and drop it off the building I was on. I still didn't die. Best part was that my lips still move while talking :) I did die after a few minutes... happened twice to me but was quite funny due to the direct comms

I play the game in my sleep. Doesn't happen with many games.. diablo 2 was the last one. I have full games during sleep, looting, running etc, worrying about my character. Then I wake up :) thsts how I know I play too much

I've generally been a survivor since the start, and a hero for a time. However, now that I spend more time in elektro I have become a bandit. This is mainly due to having to kill armed survivors who seem to always try to kill anyone for a can of beans. I tried to be nice but so many times they try to kill me but miss thr first shot.

Old thread, but just to say I get the shakes pretty easily when the action heats up in game. This is the only game I get it, adrenaline rush like no other game, and I love it. In general i get it most when a buddy dies and someone else is nearby that I have to find and kill. My voice gets louder etc too as my gf will likely get the rage when I start talking loundly down the mic. Its just down to the immersive play and the fact that these other people feel more like real people than other shooters. (didnt want to start a new thread)

It might be worth finding a good server community and donating to that if you want to spend

Hey Guys Im Axeboy, been playing since near the start and lurking here for a good while. I play with a few mates, did play with n00bgroup server till it went down too. Im friendly in play, but have ended up being a bandit a few times due to being attacked. Went away from Military weapons and now concentrating on using lee enfield and my new fav weapon, the Winchester. Looking forward to the SA version, superb game this... no games gives me the adrenaline rush and shakes like this does :)

I had only played public servers up till last night, I wrongly assumed they would be worse for some reason. However, overall play was far better, no sign of dodgy goings on (touch wood) and all the comms users were far more civilised than normal. Really changed my opinion, so now I will be using private hives until the SA version at least.

I really enjoy the rare moments when you actually meet some friendlies... makes the game more fun for me. Tonight I helped someone by giving blood and morph.... on comms and all good for a long time. He then shot me in the back with an enfield. Crap aim though :) as I just turned round and fired one shot with the winchester and took him out. It happened again with another just after... bad aim, winchester to head. The way I see it is that just killing all or avoiding all are steps too far, a lot of the fun for me is using judgement and learning how best to react to situations.

Ive tried to be nice to people, but almost every time they end up trying to take me (and my mates) out. So the basic rules are now that only survivors without a weapon are friendly and that those with, are told to walk away. If they dont, I shoot. Bandits get shot on site anyway :) I really went out my way to try and not shoot at other people, but they just dont appreciate the kindness :)
