Hey guys, I'm Commissar Tom and over the past few months a lot of my friends and I have stopped playing Dayz, we just couldn't get enough out of it, there was a lot of gathering resources but for what? To fight again the next day I guess... We kept talking though, and we came up with an idea. To have a server that emphasizes a situation that is more about team based combat and groups than a normal server. More of a situation where the zombie apocalypse happened a while ago, and survivors have teamed up together to fight for their team rather than for resources. (which are a necessity to have a properly functioning team of course) We eventually plan to have it where teams have an area of land which is theirs, giving players that feeling that a lot of people currently lack in DayZ. We want to have teams be able to build bases, and eventually set up a system where resources will be fought over more than "found" in respawned areas. Not only do we want teams, but we are already building a new infrastructure. Groups of people that specialize in certain things and will help other teams in exchange for their goods and resources. An example of this is our team of rescue medics and taxi-men, that will help injured combat teams of another group for slight payments, and shuttle players across the map, even random players that just ask, of course for resources. This will give a sense of a community trying to rebuild, and bringing along with them our old senses of economics, which it has been proven spring up very quickly after emergencies as demand is very high and supply is often non existent. We want to try to create a new dayz experience. Where one will focus on team combat to invade an enemies territory, find themselves in a large firefight in over new found supplies, and constantly rebuild the infrastructure of human society, and would love to have all of you with us. We have a decent amount of people interested so far but we could always use more. I've been with these guys for about a week now, James if a very respectable person and very, very helpful. The customer support is excellent and out of any server hosting Vert gives you more access to the script you need to change and morph your server to whatever you need. I look forward to being a long term customer of Vert Hosting!

Hello, I was playing on a server a few moments ago and there were players complaining of a hacker, I'm so used to the statements that I didn't bother; however, the hacker started messing with players and suddenly after a strange video that apeared on my GPS *a second one* I was given many items, I am not sure what to do. I have left the server and have read the forum guidlines about how to report hacks, but could not find anything on what to do with hacked items so I wanted to ask: What should I do with said hacked items that I did not ask for, but was simply given? I know many people had the same problem, from the responses of players including "wtf..." "uhh?" and other statements. It would be great if someone can tell me what I need to do! I have kept the servers name out of the topic as I believe this is what I am supposed to do *after reading guidlines*? If they need this information I can tell it. Also the server is a private hive.
