    Normally, I would continue the ass hat train, but I feel like OP needs a hero. so. Here we go. Dearest OP, The reason these mean men are laughing at you is because the "map" you suggested, is actually a modification to a mod. The actual "map" you are speaking of is Taviana. So, in suggesting that we use DayZ Origins as the map, is not really possible. Hope this helped my sweet little OP. Regards, Jordan

    Hey dude, it is rather deceiving how you fill jerries. You do not use the actual pumps per say, but you use the big tanks you are talking about. You can find them at MOST gas stations, and many farm buildings. ( the long brown ones )

    He is correct on colors, and adding to it, triangles are air vehicles, and squares are land vehicles.

    I am actually running a rig VERY similar to that. Only thing is I have more RAM, and a GTX 660 TI. I chose to OC just a tad bit, but it really did not even need it. Great suggestion, not sure on price though. I got a good deal on them.

    If you want to customize your server the most you can. I suggest Vert Hosting. Gives you access to a ton of the files needed to customize.

    I am not sure they added it in to all servers, but I know there a good amount of private hives that have added it in. Are you on a private hive of public hive?

    Uhm I would run Arma 2 and OA once each before trying again. You do not have to play it if you do not want, just go to the menu, that should be good enough.

    Try validating cache. Steam > Library > Right click Arma 2 > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache Do the same for Arma 2: OA. This worked for me when I had similar issues. Lemme know how it works out

    It is much easier, to get sick now. Being sick causes you to lose blood relatively quickly. Antibiotics are easier to find now.

    M40A3 all the way. I like the SVD ranging system, but by now I have pretty much gotten within about 50 meters to eyeballing distances. I love the mil dot systems, so I would take the M40A3 over SVD. I think the SVD looks cooler though :P

    Just because you have played on a few bad servers does not mean the whole game has gone to shit. If you want a good server, and community join Balota Buddies! http://balotabuddies.net/ You wont regret it. I have never left.

    There have been times when I could stand beside a zombie, and not be hit until about 24 seconds later. It is truly sad that zombies are no longer part of the danger of the game. I hope for the stand alone the zombies will be MUCH MORE of a threat.

    Shrapnell, while I understand why you are angry, some people do want to have PvP every now and then. I play as a hero on my servers, but sometimes I do just want some PvP. So I am glad that there are only a few servers like this ( I hope) but I think they have their place.
