Obviously you have not played Arma 2 much yourself. When you are playing Arma, you need the lobby. This is to choose your role, Blufor, Opfor, Civi, or Indi. But, please continue raging on a topic you do not know about.

A timer for dying? Nah. I think that is just stupid IMO. Me and my guys do way to much stupid stuff to try and kill each other to have a 24 hour timer. And I mean really, how many times did you die as a new player when you first started? Play for 15 minutes, get sniped, wait a DAY before doing it all again? Nah. EDIT: With some servers and people's PCs, trying to get back in is enough punishment

For backpacks, cars, and tents, a tool is the same thing as a weapon. A tool takes one item slot, and one weapon slot.

Few things to do. Validate your Cache. Please just google if you do not know how, it is not hard. Run Arma 2 and Arma 2 OA at least once to the menu. Try these, then update us.

Hey guys, recently tried updating to the latest patch through DayZ commander, and got this error when trying. I noticed the 404 so I thought it might be an error on DayZ commander side, so I waited until today with no success. Then I tried restarting my router and modem, tried un-installing DayZ Commander, then DayZ files, to no avail. I have tried it on another PC in my house and it worked fine. I am lost at this point. Any help would be great,

When you go in to DayZ commander, just update to the latest one. 103718 I believe.

Using DayZ commander makes it literally so you choose what patch you wish to download, and click download.

Steak is correct. I can not stand it, but not everyone is going to know the correct terms, and some have grown up around the video game terms. But, anyways, lemme go put my clip in my Mosin.

Make sure you are not downloading, streaming, or anything to that effect. Look for servers in the US. A good ping can be anything from 5- 150 IMO. But every now and then I have some guys from AU that I play with, and I can handle it even at 250 ping.
