I have been trying to copy and paste an image as my signature. I have made sure I had room, used the copy and past tool in the editor, and tried 2 different browsers. Any ideas? Any help appreciated :D

The standalone should be out soon, but I would say buy Arma 2 anyways! And either way, the mod is still great fun, and Arma 2 is a great game all by itself. However, to answer your question, yes you will have to buy the standalone when it come out.

Hey dude, first off, I noticed you said that you were going to get the mod from steam, unless something has changed recently you do not get the mod from steam. Just download a program called DayZ commander. EXTREMELY simple application. Once you get Arma2, if you want to, Id be glad to help you out! My clan and I have our own TS3 server, and DayZ server. You don't need to join our clan or anything, but I'd be glad to help you out for a little while! PM me when you get Arma2, Ill be glad to give you the TS3 IP and everything!

Hey dude, the group I play in is great, we have 2 Dayz servers, and a TS3 server. At the peak times, our 40 slot DayZ Taviana server is full. Usually about 3-6 people on the TS3. Hey dude, it should run pretty well. BUT before you buy it, think about purchasing parts instead of a pre-built. It is not only a better "bang for your buck" but it is also pretty fun to do :P But ya, if you do not want to buy parts, then DayZ should well pretty well, maybe not on full graphics, but at least on normal, so much better than your other PC! :D Hope this helped!

My guess, is that it should be about the same, if not better. Pros: Better Optimization of whole game Zeds being less CPU heavy Cons for lower end PC's: Improved graphics ( volumetric clouds) All Zeds spawn at once, opposed to when people are near. Hope this helped, if your PC can handle now, it should be fine for stand alone :)

I love Taviana, when there are enough people online, it makes for a great PvP server because of the large number of vehicles. I have begun playing Taviana exclusively for about a month. My clan and I really loves it.

Always go for the build dude! You can pretty much always get more "bang for your buck" when building a PC rather than a pre build model :D

The only reason to take that launcher is if there is a vehicle at the NWAF that you need to kill, and then go get your bag back. It is no use against zombies nor players. Do not take it over your bag!
