  1. The state I live in allows me to walk into a sporting goods store, buy a suppressor, hunting rifle, scope, and gun kit, and then walk out and hunt with it next season.

Also, a silencer will decrease the sound but it will also change what the sound sounds like. When this gent is being shot at by your silenced M16 he might go, what scrub is shooting at me with a ______?

Helps the deception factor as well as knowing where the shots come from.

  2. Love it, got a few limitation for you though.

A - This is not assassin's creed. To climb straight up the side of a building you would need a climbing kit ( essentially a rope and some sort of hook ).

B - More things like the climbable bar on the side of cherno town center building.

C - Climbing up trees, please let me be a stealthy bushwookie tree sniper.

  3. Being "scope bit" happens to morons. I've seen it happen with stupid people shooting M16s even with the carrying handle smacking them in the face. It's because improper technique. Wouldn't like this feature to happen in a game.

Yeah, but I hope Dayz SA will have some sort of experience feature. No man would be able to pick up a 50. cal, zero it, and snipe people from 1000 meters in real life with no prior experience. Being scope bit happens if you are inexperienced, etc.

  4. You can't post a video of a moron shooting a .50 caliber sniper rifle and think that is how recoil works. He is firing from an unsupported prone position, for one. M107 uses a Bipod which pretty much eliminates all recoil when fired from prone. Secondly he's a wimp.

The video was not for recoil, it was to show what being scope bit is.

  5. Couple things to be used to balance snipers

    1) Recoil, almost non-existant when sniping.

2)Possibility of being scope bit (

) when firing too fast, would cause you to unscope/cause shakes due to pain

    3) Vapor trails, and no I am not talking lines of smoke through the sky, but the real kind of vapor trails. It would just be a line of distortion in the air. Would only affect 776 and higher.

Those are all you can do. Everything else is tactics on your end.

    Tactics to avoid being shot

    1) Do NOT drop and crawl in a field when being shot at, just gives the sniper more time to line up a second shot, just run like hell to the nearest cover.

    2) Cover, not bushes, COVER. Get some concrete inbetween you and that 50. cal.

    3) Leapfrogging, when you have two people being fired on, have one spray in the snipers location with a high rof weapon, other runs, the one who ran sprays, etc.

    4) Zombies, pay attention to them.

  6. There is a couple things people need to keep in mind about the shotguns, and every rule here goes 3x for the double barrel.

    1. They are close range weapons - This is kind of obvious, but this is where shotguns really shine. Once, I came up behind a guy who had a shotgun, once I saw this I backed away about 50 meters. When I unloaded into him, he only hit me once because the range I was at made it harder to aim at me and harder to hit. When he did hit, it was pretty low damage. Moral of the story is, if you are not in a building, try not to use shotguns too much ( with exceptions of course ),

    2. They are ambush weapons - Getting into a firefight with someone with a M4 CCO when you have a shotgun leaves you a pretty good chance of dying. Above, the guy who snuck up on you, if he took the proper time to line up a headshot, you would be dead. Instead he went BOTH BARRELS BITCH! into your back. Shotguns and headshots have a close relationship, lets keep em dating.
