@BostonAdmin Yeah, we stopped the server a few weeks ago. When we started ours up it went great for a long time, until the end hackers started coming in. Teleporters, Spawners, etc...so your paranoia is well understood. I agree with you on that, the forums are pretty much useless atm other than reports. Hopefully it wont be long for the standalone but I have a feeling we have a few months yet. =/

@BostonAdmin I am not sure what made you so angered at me? I have been perfectly civil in my responses towards you. I thought we could discuss this maturely but I guess that is beyond your childish nature. I find it pretty funny myself with your saying "stop trying to make this about hording vehicles" when your ban specifically says "Hording every vehicle = DOUCHE BAG!". So its exactly on the topic of this thread & what you said. As for being an admin, there are a lot of traceable ways for finding script changes. You're just too lazy to find them. The A-team is part of your group then? Is that why I was banned? Because I mentioned that they MIGHT be the hackers. A lot of things are becoming clear now on your motives behind my ban. I never flat out accused them of actually being the hackers only that you should take a closer look at them because some of the evidence pointed at them. If someone had mentioned that one of my group might be hacking I would look into it instead of rage banning the person who made the accusations. As far as my sources say, everything has not been "okay" in your server and that you still have hackers. Funny, guess it wasn't us after all. As for the UAZ it sounds like your group is pretty slow moving. I have a few pointers for you. When a vehicle is located at a spawn point and you see it, you go after it. You don't dick around and watch it for a couple days to see if it magically repairs itself. Perhaps your team was a bit jealous at our speed in repairing vehicles. Why does this need to be locked? Are there things you don't want to say anymore? You seem to be making fatal mistakes in your "statements" now that prove I am innocent of all guilt. I have provided a butt ton of evidence that proves my innocence and all you have done is say confusing statements on vehicle locations. Why would we close this when I am getting you to admit your mistakes and tripping up? I suggest you just stop commenting before you put your foot in your mouth. Server admins looked like kids. >_> Anyway, yeah that looked pretty damn suspicious 2 me as well. Sorry bro, some server admins abuse power & it sucks. My group is looking for a good server to join as well....hopefully your group shall find one. I was running a public server but it ended up getting lots of hackers >_> & was a bit too much to constantly be watching. We did also have a private server but no1 joined it.

@Admin - In all honesty it doesn't matter 2 me that much because I don't plan on playing on that server again. It very well seems like you may have hackers & I think they might be part of the A-Team clan who plays on it. However, I don't know for sure I am just saying you need to check them out closer. As for checking server files for hackers I do think you need to do a bit more research before banning people. I am not insulting your intelligence at all, I had no idea about a ton of things until I did lots of research for my DayZ Server. It will help you locate the real hackers more accurately and make fair bans so you don't have issues like this in the future :] Anyway, I do understand stopping hackers can be rather tedious. We have our issues with them as well. So definitely understand where you were coming from. I guess the biggest thing that made me post this was the vehicle hoarding part. Our group likes to get geared up for any situation and make a good camp. We spend countless hours looting >_> COUNTLESS HOURS lol. We like to have multiple of everything just in case one of us dies or breaks a vehicle. It makes sense that in a real world "DayZ" you or I would hoard vehicles/supplies as well. I think in the future if you want people to play on your server you should mention your own rule about vehicles. MOTD - Limit 1 vehicle per person or w/e lol. Seems silly but its your prerogative. If we had known of this rule earlier we would have never joined your server. Well thats that. In the mean time I wish you all good luck and here is hoping for the standalone soon!! :D Even though we probably have a few months for it yet. =(

Yes, we lost our stuff many times over as well. I had a group of around 4-5 guys. (Dead Dude, Trapper_J0hn, Sn33kyPanda, Doopy, Valorous Reaper, & I feel like im missing one or 2 still lol) We had around 4-5 vehicles collected + at one point we had all 3 choppers until we crashed 2 of them >_> We found those choppers at a hidden base far NE. We had used the Mi-17 to search in remote areas(which we had found at devils castle...which is the spawn area for it). The reason I called abuse is because I was banned for no reason. We had a large group and we worked fast. We knew the good spots to get geared up. As for the huey the only huey we got was at skalisty island + the huey we found later on, at the hidden base far NE. Our base was West of the NW Airfield. Thats where we kept our choppers & vehicles. As for the PBX I dont remember a 100% but im pretty sure we didnt have that. Unless one of my other group members recently found it. As for vehicle hoarding I hardly call 4-5 vehicles hoarding -. - That makes no sense to me especially when we retrieve them legitly. I made an exact list of our groups stuff above. So you banned the wrong guy. Its w/e im not holding a grudge its fine. I own my own server and sometimes ban very suspicious behavior. I also search in the different log files for spawners, teleporters & all the other crap out there. Some players show up in the suspicious areas that you keep a watch on but that doesnt mean they're hacking. For instance they show up if they blow something up. They didn't hack, it even says so all over the web. I did tons of research on that before just out right banning ppl. Its extremely obvious in the server files when people are changing the scripts n junk. So for me to show up in your file probably means I blew something up & I sure as hell did that night lol. So did some of my friends n yet they didn't get banned. Its fine if you want to keep me banned I play on a different server w/my buddies now but I wish you would look closer. I did not hack nor shall I ever. I understand the frustrations of dealing with hackers believe me, so I dont totally blame you. I just hope you trust me now.

We do not have side chat enabled in our server atm however considering activating it. I get it now though. Just to clarify, I can't see people chatting to me(ADMIN) in the Direct Chat channel or any other channel unless they are near another player chatting? I did see a conversation going on from player to player but when a person is alone and chatting I cant see that? Seems odd. Also, by enabling Side Chat will I then be able to see that chat logged into Dart as Admin? BTW, still loving this program! Thanks again.

Hey, started using dart and love it so far!! One thing we seem to have an issue with though is I am able to talk to other players and they can see what I type however I cannot see from Dart what they are typing. I looked in the settings and everything was checked marked in the chat settings. Any suggestions?

Apologies for the wrong format. I will look for the proper format next time. I did look briefly to see if there was one but must of missed it. As for more proof I recorded some video to show you which I will post on youtube. If you need anything further or perhaps can offer some suggestions as to any other way to gather proof just let me know. I really enjoy DayZ and in all honesty I thought we had some good competition going on in this server but its not right to ban someone for taking your vehicles in a public server. They did after all strike first blood by taking ours first ;D

Map: Chernarus Server: US 617 Boston IP: 216.155.140.120:2302 Hello to all! Around 2-3 months ago my friends & I had joined server "US 617" and for the most part we liked it. We did lose stuff once in a while but figured that was due to some people thieving or server issues(Not a big deal). Anyway, about 2 weeks back we had collected a good amount of vehicles & the little bird. We had obtained: Little Bird Ural Civilian Transport White Off road Pickup Truck Gaz UAZ 4 Tents(full of stuff) We were quite proud of what we had collected. The very next morning after we had collected the Little Bird everything was gone. Not a big deal. Our camp was well hidden but easily found by another heli. So about a week later we had managed to repair the new MI-8 or Hip. I think thats what it is called. Its the really big heli. Not the Chinook. So myself and 2 other friends go on a hunt for camps based on the outskirts. After a while of traveling and searching sure enough we find a large camp full of our old vehicles & the other 2 choppers! We then decide to raid it and grab what we can. After such time we destroy the rest of their camp for taking our stuff and to try & make the game a bit more exciting. Perhaps some group wars :D ...They had: Huey Little Bird Ural Civilian Transport V3S Civilian Transport White Off road Pickup Truck Blue Van UAZ 7 tents(full of stuff) That night as we are pulling out with all our new stuff we accidently crash 2 of the heli's dont laugh :P and lose the V3S. Someone followed one of our group members in a UAZ we had missed I think. Our member of course crashes the V3S and gets out 2 put a new tire on and gets lit up by the UAZ that had been trailing him. So all this good that had happened went bad fast. Such is DayZ. Well finally I am getting to the point of this. The next couple of days we collect a bunch of stuff & work hard for it! We have around 4-6 members on usually and manage 2 repair and hide a few vehicles. The very next morning we get on only to once again find all our stuff gone or destroyed. Its not even funny how far we hid our stuff North (x.X). So I proceed to talk to the Admin in the group chat. He isnt on but I am pretty sure he gets my msgs because I have talked 2 him before. I tell him about a few players that had the destruction points and about the raid we did & told him I had no real proof of hacking but it seemed odd to happen so fast? Later that night I get banned from the server as he puts it "Hoarding Vehicles= Douchebag & DayZNAv" I have no clue what DayZNAv is but I read in the rules I couldn't be banned for having a good amount of vehicles. I have a picture of the the ban msg that I will attach. Important thing I forgot 2 mention about this server is that there are rarely more than 8-10 ppl on. I apologize for the long thread but this I thought needed to be said so you all knew the entire story. Please tell me what you think? Maybe I am overreacting...maybe not? My friends & I r still new to DayZ. We have only been playing for around 2-3 months. We have joined a new server now because of this but I felt like US 617 takes advantage of other players if they don't get their way.
