Hello! Quick question, what is the standard amount of vehicles available on public hives? I always see private hive servers advertising like 100+ or 300+, but I don't know what to compare that to. Thanks in advance

Hello, I am getting kicked from every single server with this message, I re-installed battleye but with no luck. I am having the bandit skin, so I suppose it has to do with that. Does anyone know what I can do about this?

Hmm ok, well most often i get kicked by #41 on almost all servers :S I've found only FR16 working for me so far. Which is quite annoying, though I can just spawn on that server and then log over to the one I actually want to go on. Because when I log on FR16 and than switch to another server it DOES work, somehow that server fixes it lol.

I just tried again and all of a sudden it works again, quite buggy this game :P

This is on every server I join, and nope I have no hacks. Never had any for any game, so that can't be it.

Hello! I just died because of a bug in a tree, it broke my leg and knocked me out causing me to bleed to death. It was near the North-Eastern Airfield. Is anybody offering taxi services? Don't worry about an ambush or something I just spawned :P And if you do provide such services do you need something in return? Get back to me ASAP please! I want to get there before server restart(2 hours) and its such a long walk. Thanks in advance.

Hello! I am trying to trade my L85A2 AWS, it is of course an insanely good weapon and no longer lootable. Found it of a sniper the other day. Why would I if there's a chance I'll get some better loot with it myself ^^. And it mostly ruins other snipers, which I don't really care about.

Well nevermind, I got a lucky spawn and found a boot and got to the place I had to get to. But of course my body was gone(could still hear the flies so I guess somebody hid it). Man sometimes you just got to hate this game and it's bugs, luckily the standalone will be here soon. RIP fully geared 2 day old character :(

I suppose any public server will do, on which the taxi rider is. I mean I could just jump to the server where I died once I'm at the spot

Hello! I absolutely love DayZ, I've been playing it for about 5-7 hours. Yet everytime I encounter a hostile player, I have no chance of winning a 1 on 1 fight. Even getting Zombies down is a real challenge for me. My FPS sticks to a steady 11-13 FPS, being used to 40-60 FPS, this makes aiming even harder for me. I know DayZ is heavy on the hardware, and I understand why, but I cannot imagine that my hardware cannot take this game to at least 30 FPS on lower settings. My Hardware: CPU: Intel Core i7 2670QM 2.2GHz GPU: nVidia GeForce GT630M 2 GB Memory: 8GB HDD: 750GB(Free: 260GB) OS: Windows 7 Things I've tried to fix: Editing the CFG file Put the game on RamDisk Adding the following line to launch parameters: -nosplash -skipIntro -noPause -CpuCount=4 -maxmem=8192 -maxvram=2048 -exThreads=7 Followed guides on setting the graphics so it will get you max FPS Tried Razer game booster All of this with NO result worth mentioning, or well, I think when I put my resolution to the lowest I got high FPS. Of course the game got so blurry, I felt that I needed glasses. Does somebody have any more possible solutions or suggestions? Any help is very much appreciated!

Yea I've tried many different settings, this is the best I've gotten so far.. I don't think my laptop has problems with heat, my previous one did.. So I know what it's like ;p Really a bummer, I feel like I have problems with all games I like lol. I'll try adjusting the usage but I don't think it will change. Does anybody have any other suggestions/tutorials on how to solve this problem?

My normal resolution is 1920x1080, I just changed it so i got a bit better FPS.. about 26 now, even lower in cities and it freezes every 10+- seconds. So not ideal :(

Hello, Dayz newbie here ;) And I was wondering how the "character saving" system works? Because to be honest, I don't understand a single bit of it. For example, I was under the impression that I was able to take my character to a different server and have all my items I had on the server before this. Since I didn't have the items I had before, I decided to switch back to the server I was on, and I had only the starter items! :( Weird thing is though, I was on the same spot as I had logged out. Could someone clarify this please? Or link me to a place where it is already clarified? Thanks in advance! Leniaal

Hmm ok, I am using DayZ Commander. But every time i switch servers(or even log to the same server again) I lose everything :( 3 times now anyway, don't know if I'm just unlucky.

Though, this doesnt explain why my gear was lost.
