    more of a bitch than a question as I'm pretty sure it's just tough sht for me but I'm new to dayz, friend of mine suggested it and I love it, been on alot over the last couple of days and today I made loads of progress, got some nice gear, several hours play, then I disconnect for 10 minutes and when I reconnect I'm faced with the male/female choice, wtf?!? so I just wasted a couple of days just like that? damn thats enough to make me say fck this game, I bought arma2 co just to get dayz and after a couple of days this happens. gutted.

    Thats rough, and disappointing, but thanks Grit, appreciate it. Is there anything I can do to minimise this? like staying logged in 24/7? or only using one server?

    I tried a different server, then tried the same one again, neither were private hive (at least it didn't say so in their names). I was using UK servers earlier today and DE this evening.
