Grenades are rare? I have 20 of the fucking things.

BTR-70 would be rediculous. Small arms fire would be ineffective and the AT4 that is already in game is rare as fuck. If they made the AT4 more common I think you could imagine how retarded things would get.

My main gripe is with the weapon sounds. Some of them (especially the AK-74) sound rather pitiful. I think it would be really nice if they just incorporated JSRS sounds into the mod/SA.

It would be nice if you could build proper settlements with a perimeter that would keep people from ghosting inside. E.g. you try to log in there and just get moved to the outside of the perimeter. Maybe manage who can come inside with a password entry like a POS in EVE? Not sure how doable that would be but it's an idea.

In addition to this can I have speakers on my helicopters to yell at players on the ground? How else would I tell players without a radio that imminent death/rescue is at hand?

Grenades need to explode in a fireball large enough to destroy whole buildings. It will of course be shown from different angles each time.

Since people seem to dislike duplicate threads I figured I'd just bump this one and emphasize that DayZ really is in need of some better weapon sounds. Especially since I can't run JSRS while playing DayZ.

How about having your character's eyes adjust to the dark after a bit like they do in real life? If not then you can liken upping the gamma to that.

You need to instantly go into slow motion and have doves fly out of your ass too.

I like it, but I want the ability to leave notes on my body saying things like, "If you're reading this it means I'm 6 feet under by now, so here's what you need to know about the stash in Cherno. I hope you never find it asshole!"
