CCCP, im guessing its not EU, but dont quote me lol. Thinking about it, a starting loadout of reasonable primary, food and drink could be usefull. Im assuming the two factions start out vanilla, or are they equipped from the outset? Maybe an incentive for the factions to take out a bandit could be that bandits have a high end weapon? Not a sniper rifle, but a good class of weapon? Either way, i will be popping in for a scout around a little later, maybe a scalp or five if im lucky. Great idea of yours this, kudos to you. Ingame im the same name as here, the13th. Im sure the factions will come to hate the name! Ha-HAAARRRRRR! -

Also, can you detail any periods that "may" be off limits as far as killing? You mentioned ceasefires . . . does that apply to all? Or can a wolf steam in and catch people with their pants down? -

I dont mind Kamenka personally, but if it were substituted for something, hows this for an idea. You spawn in into a hospital. Premise being you "woke up in an abandoned hospital with no memory of how you got there" sort of thing? It could be a rare spawn, so it doesnt happen all the time. Could be a good alternative?

Easier for ranging in my opinion, the ballistics in game for the SVD are pretty damn close to the real weapon, ive been able to fire the SVD on a exercise whilst in the British Army, they (WL RP, Polish Army) tested our kit and we got busy with theirs. Its good but occasionally shows its age. In game however, for rapid acquisition shots, it does show its worth as you just bracket the target with the PSO and it gives you a range indication, quick and easy. Got to agree it does look the poodles pods when dripping with camo though. -

And very welcome they are too! :D Have to say that of all servers ive been on, this is the one that i like to return to. Last night, there were some that couldn't accept the whole "PvP" mentality and were going ape whenever someone pointed a gun muzzle in their direction, problem was they were begging for their lives in side chat voice, it was almost embarrassing listening to them! (But bloody funny too!!). Going back on again later, need my fix!!!!!!!!!!! B) Seriously, to anyone who has not stopped by on this server, get in there! Its great, if you dont, you are missing out! -
Im pretty new myself, only 5 days as of today. No bad experiences (yet!), and am enjoying the game. Hope its the same for you, maybe cross paths in game one day, until then, keep having fun.

Played this for a little while last night, it was the best fun ive had in ages, even when i got slotted the first time (Timmay got me i think!) after being in it for 5 minutes, i couldnt wait to jump back in! Great! Great fun. Great people. Just bloody GREAT! Got to just before server restart, and i thought, sod it - im storming the airfield! BANG! Dont know who got me but i was laughing my ass off as it was just great fun. Im going back later tonight!! -
DMR good all-rounder. Vintorez as stated only really effective to around 400 (bullet drop is like an SVD over 3 times the range!), but can be used for harrasing out to 600+, ive had a 620 headshot with Vintorez, but i had to walk 3 shots onto the target first to get it.(*Shot taken in Arma2, not DayZ) Id happily have a DMR most of the time.

Jester814. Reason i got hooked. Also posts up Vanilla Arma2 and with his 15thMEU group, quite tactical, which i like. Some of his regular extras are pretty damn good too. -
