That's the thing. It's not about being sneaky. It's about being killed if you get inside a city. Did you ever watched any zombie movie? The city should be a death trap.

You must respect the learning curve. The dificulty lies on doing everything you use to do before the patch. If you explore a little bit more, you'll see the game is as easy as it was, but respecting some aspect of "realism". It should be impossible to cross a horde whitout being ripped apart. Some of 1.6.*.* mechanics was a joke. You just could stay dancing between 30 zombies whitout being hit. I know the actual patch is not perfect and need some balance but, again, is a work in progress.

As I said in other topic before, I like the fear of being bitten by a zombie. It brings that "The Walking Dead" sensation (if they bite you, you're screwed). I'm sure the devs are working in the next patch and will tweak the loot tables to make the mod a little more balanced between gameplay/fun and the harshness the game is supposed to bring. But, IMHO, they are pointing the development to the right direction.

He plays the soundclips with his smartphone near the headset mic. For the video, he edits with the high quality clips so it sounds better and we can have a good video to watch. Clever guy! ;)

The constancy of your frustration is proportional to how much you insist to play the way you used to before the patch. You need to adapt your gameplay. I know it's not perfect, but it's a work in progress. If you stop and think about the "in game situation", it would be stupid run around the city and looting stuff. You should get killed for doing that. Considering the vast majority of zombie fiction available, It just makes sense.

It looks great! Maybe the "carrying" could be a nice way to switch between primary weapons to axe/crowbar/machete/baseball bat. Great work!!!! -

I've played in BMRF #3 today (private hive) and the only bug i noticed is the old zombie ghost blinking once in a while over some zombie corpse. It's kind of freaking me out.

Hey guys! I'm desperate! A: So, my in-game name is Leo DaCosta B: I'm dying, infected, low on blood. C: I'm outside NWAF near the south barracks D: I'm in ghillie suit, with a DMR I found in a heli crash site. I'm a survivor with neutral humanity (never killed anyone). My public hive char is 232 days alive now (since I was playing most in private hives) and I'm scared. Kind of attached to this char (it's my third char since I started playing). Can any good soul provide me some antibiotics? I do have a bloodbag in my backpack, but it seemed impossible for me to find medicine in this patch. I managed to stay alive hunting and eating a lot of meat while scavenging for the cure of my infection, but now I'm out of food and I don't think I can find any animal to hunt before I get killed by this damn sickness, since I'm really low on blood. Thank you in advance, life saviors! -

I'm playing in 40-50 crowded servers and IMHO it's about the way you search. You mentioned the Cherno/Electro swap... I did found good loot on small villages away from the coast. Maybe people should consider change the way they use to play. I know the learning curve can be a pain in the ass, but that's the way it is with this patch. The infection factor brings the "the walking dead" fear of being bitten. And it's freaking awesome! I'm not entirely sure about the scarce loot, but well... I'll try hard to adapt first. I did enjoy the new patch. Maybe some balance can be studied and added in a near future (I'm pretty sure Razor is reading the boards and Reddit to take some feedback from the players). I think it would be more constructive if we talk to the team more directly if we don't like something, so they can elucidate us the expectations of every change they did. -

Firt of all: The game is not released yet. (not even in alpha). So I think any criticism now is just antecipated. Maybe we can critic the way things are going, how the hype can be lost, but we CAN'T criticize a game it's not released yet. It's like critic a movie by the poster or a book by the first page. Once the game is released, you can: 1 - Play the game. 2 - Criticise it. -

My first good gear was in my first week playing. I was on my way to NEAF and found a heli crash site. Got a FN FAL, M107 and NV Googles. Happiest day ever. -

The dev team stated that it's a revamped engine based on TOH Engine. So, it's a completely new engine. Not sure if it's as good as A3 Engine.
