Greetings all, Can anyone please point me towards a custom loadout tutorial? I would like to edit my Private Hive DayZ coop servers default starting gear to include a hatchet, two bandages. Plus I would like to make additional ID assigned packages. Not looking to overpower players just give them the feeling they a freelance zombie killing crew. Sure would be nice to see some code and how to add it to the cust_loadout & cust_loadout_profile tables. Thanks for your help!!

Could look at scripting a server check - disallowed items versus player inventory upon login. (Item X found in inventory) Server to player - Disallowed item X found in your inventory please dispose of X responsibly. (Upon item use) Server to player - You used disallowed item X - (instant death) You have died. Then if possible script the body to be hidden so item cannot be retrieved.

Best version: Steam version or Non-Steam version? Why should anyone run steam if they can just run Non-Steam + Play withSix? Really?

+ The side to side mildots help hit moving targets. To hit a moving target aim where the target should be based on it's speed, not where it is when to shot.

Yes we are and we know full well we will likely see daily player wipes and server outages at the start. A bit more news would be nice soon.

You're better off not knowing if they are female. Remember the old unreal torment naked female skins? You run around a corner and some idiot takes a second to think "oh I see tits" while you proceed to no scope them in the face. It would be like that here. When your looking through your sniper scope going "hey Frankie that's lady down by the fire department" her husband/boyfriend/girlfriend/small fuzzy animal (don't judge) will probably be blowing your head off!

Anyway of doing something truly useful with that information? Say making a spare backup copy of the database. Then search for evidence of hacking. Surely the best and brightest can come up with some ideas for good search criteria. Such as what players kill people with weapons not actually available legitimately. Surely some people will stand out like a flashing light while others will simply rate a watchlist. Sure some legitimate players will find weapons left by hackers. But they're not going to have routine access to it. It's okay if we run for hours and you suddenly stab me in the back for some camouflage clothes I picked up and proceed to dance around screaming you idiot while you respectfully teabag by dead corpse. But kill me legitimately for God's sake, I deserve that much!!!

Good to know, TY! The gaming community is made up of all kinds of people. Most of the cheaters will cheat if they can find the tools. Just a bunch of losers waiting for their tiny balls to drop. But some of them may simply be turned to the dark side by some kind of misguided notion that it's glamorous. So before posting every little "hacking incident" and possibly adding to it being overly glamorized. Considered just quietly sending an incident report with any relative information to the server admin. After all once we lose good players to the dark side we may not get them back.

There are two generally accept theories for where the potatoes are: 1) It's a bloody Scottish conspiracy. Them bolks are taking all the potatoes in case global warming causes another potato famine. 2) The zombies may have a taste for human brains it's true. But their first true love is still vodka.
