I have not played DayZ yet (I've decided to wait for standalone to come out) and I love all of the ideas. But, instead of just logging off and reappearing at the same place. Wouldn't it be cool if before you log for the night that you go to sleep (your character would be dormant and you could do it preferably some where hidden) I think it would add to the realism and I know the community may have a lot of problems with it but I just wanted to hear everyone elses opinion

Hey guys, I've been watching DayZ videos on Youtube for quite a while. I have a couple questions. One, should I wait for DayZ standalone to come out or just get Arma II for Christmas? Two, which has more features, the standalone or the Alpha Mod. Three, will the standalone be continually updated or have like... "Expansions". Finally, should I get it for Steam or just off the Website (I know with steam there can be some startup issues and diffuculty with mods when it comes to folders).

I know this is of no use to you immediately but I would love to play with a fellow mature person looking to be more of a Hero that helps other people out. The problem is im getting the game in 2-3 weeks, I may get it earlier if the standalone gets pushed back. I have teamspeak but don't know much about it, sooo thats pretty much it, and good luck surviving out there.
