  1. yes, i can't find any good info about it, but from what the maker said, it sounds promising. he's enthusiastic, ambitious and wants to go against the grain, kinda reminds me of Rocket. I hope it will be great.

  8. A close friend of mine went off on a little tirade about the new female models. she went on about how the hind end is rediculously enlarged for guy's "viewing pleasure", and how that is demeaning to women. your thoughts?
  9. though your post was very whiney, you do come up with a good and very true point. going to groups does become a weakness. in DayZ, safety in numbers really does not apply when the enemy would still take you head on with abandonment.

    wouldn't be "realistic" without it. especially when everyone in the forum keep harping on about realism. personally, i would love rape in game, along with children survivors/ zombies, and torture. i would like to see just how far a game like that would go, not much i suppose

Then a fourth came up from a flank and shot us both. 1) they were not careful enough and thus i managed to kill 2; 2) we didn't see the fourth guy and he flanked us. This is pretty much how it works IRL. I still haven't surpassed the gear i had after two days. You think it's easy to shoot people because you always end up on the receiving end and therefore think the universe is somehow unfair to you when, in fact, you are just bad at the game. Man up. Let the negreps flow. [/quote'] not strong enough of a consequence, especially for those that don't care if they die or not. something that will make people wonder if the person they are going to murder is worth it, rocket said that he will implement some sort consequence for killing, but not penalties. i hope it's good

  14. there should not be any mechanic that prevents or at all penalize anyone for player killing sprees. that goes against the spirit of the mod. however there really ought to be a mechanic that makes people think twice before taking a life. as it is already, weapons and ammunition is very wide spread and easy to find, heck you start out with a pistol and a decent amount of mags. when some sort of melee weapon is implemented i suggest players starting without a fire arm, this makes them put in more time to finding one, time= value to one's life place that with global chat removal, this will really hamper people who just spawn, frag then die. rinse and repeat

    DayZ has become Deathmatch / Team Deathmatch

    it's sad really, how community is doing in the mod deathmatching is a problem, but only a problem down in the coasts. people don't want to waste time going to the northern wilderness to find an easy kill, when people spawning in will do.
