I just started playing dayz last night, I think it would be much more entertaining to survive with other people. So I'm looking for people to play with, be it a clan/guild or a loose association of people. Even just one person would be better than solo. I'd prefer to play a Hero type character, but it's survival-sometimes you need to murder. Looking for a TeamSpeak/Vent style VOIP- no Skype. EST time zone I play vids nearly everyday for a few hours, at least pm me on the forum, or reply here. Immature people need not respond, thanks for the consideration.

guess I'll just find a different server for now, need to learn the game anyways, havn't even loaded up Arma yet- total arma/dayz newb.

Thanks for the response. zortserver.com doesn't say it's down, either way, hopefully it's ready once i get everything installed. Otherwise I'll have to find a different hacker free server.

I'm new to Arma, and obviously DayZ. I plan on making this server my first attempt (download is done in about an hour or so) Just curious what the population is like. How many players active, how many are playing atm? Should I be playing shoot first, ask later style? or attempt to socialize?
