  1. Also, when I said 1.7.4. I actually meant 1.7.4.4, sorry.
  2. Thanks a lot, clearly I did not think of this and apparently I never even had a @DayZ folder.... stupid me, I thought it was in there. Finally I can play DayZ again!
  3. Hi, I've just fixed a problem I had the other day connecting to servers and now I've run into another. Basically, every time I attempt to join any server it brings up an error saying "You are running the wrong version of DayZ_code" and it tells me that I'm running 1.7.3 and the server requires 1.7.4. But, I have got 1.7.4 installed so it doesn't seem to make any sense. I've tried searching for other solutions but I can't get anything so I've resorted to this. I AM using DayZ commander which could possibly be a part of the issue but I've reinstalled dayz multiple times now and it's really beginning to bother me. I'd be very grateful for some advice to solve this issue and perhaps it can help anyone else with the same problem. I can post images if required later. Thanks.

You are running the wrong version of DayZ_Code

Yes, I've only tried joining server's with Chernarus or Namalsk so i'm unsure of other maps.

    Bad version, server rejected connection

UPDATE! I figured it all out and now I feel stupid, apparently all it was was that I couldn't run DayZ with steam. What a waste of time.
  7. Hello, I've recently come to an issue when connecting to any DayZ servers. I get the following error every time "Bad version, server rejected connection" I've looked at other people's solutions to the problems and have tried them all several times without any of them doing anything to help. The things I have tried are: -Reinstalled both Arma 2 and Arma 2 OA -I have installed several different beta patches, including the latest (99515) -I have verified the integrity of the game cache multiple times Things to take note of are that I am using the steam version of the game (combined operations) and I am using DayZ commander to play the mod. Even when I know that the server has got the exact same version that I have installed It still gives me the "bad version" error. I've been trying to fix this for around 3 days now and It's extremely frustrating. I'd be very happy to have a solution to this soon.
