If you're not the admin, but just a player, you prob should just try another server, and if the server has a forum, post a message about it. Had the same problem once, turned out the server needed some maintenance.

Been reading a few pages of this thread now, and from page 2 onward, it started to become a discussion between a few players about who's the idiot or not.... On topic, the fact that we have fake, 'unrealistic' foods and drinks wil definitely not break immersion IMHO. Finding an AK-74 kobra in a firehouse, is thát normal in russia?? nobody complaining about that ruining immersion. Stop complaining about this stuff, and let the mod be the mod, and let the Forum mods get the credit they well deserve!

yeah, if you go through vysota, take a right, and then take a dirtpath left. you'll get to some barns. but like i said, i don't think it's a spawnpoint.

It does spawn , i've had 2 since i started playing dayz in August. I had one on a private hive (not one with extra vehicles), and one in dayz 'vanilla'. if you head north out of cherno, through the little village, there are some barns on your right, a bit uphill. That's where i found the vanilla one, don't know if it's a spawn point though.

As far as settings ingame go, that's difficult to say cause systems are different, but one thing you can try is in the Video Options of Arma/Dayz, click advanced, and set your video memory to high. Maybe that'll help. And you can put postprocess effect off, is doesn't do anything for me at least.

That's a big difference, from 60 to 15. Does afterburner have a diagnostics tool, maybe your card is simply broke?

How can you tell howmuch load your GPU puts out, you have a program for that? And what kind of FPS are you playing at?

You should be getting WAY more than that. My specs are, AMD Phenom II x4 850 on 3,3Ghz, a GTS450, and 8 gigs, and i'm getting about the same FPS as you. Are you running other programs when playing dayz? EDIT: I play with AA off btw. and most settings on high.

Your firewall is a windows security, and it's possible it blocks ARMA. However it should block it immediatly, and not after a few minutes, so i don't think that's the problem. I you play through WIFI, try a wired connection for a few times. Maybe your WIFI receiver can't cope with the big data stream?? EDIT: Do you have regular internet issues? Like other games, or just with ARMA?

I spoke a bit to soon too. I'm gonna look for a new CPU after i found a new GPU and see what happens.

Well I play with a GTS450 1GB, and i run between 20 and 25 most of the time, sometimes i peak at 37. It cost me €100,- at the time, but if you wanna a bit more decent, you could go for a Nvidia GTX560 or RadeonHD7770.

Some suggestions, if you haven't tried these already. Restart your modem and/or router. (at least 15 mins) Check you firewall. Is it happening on all servers and all maps?

Yeah you should put in the night, but putting in NVG's as a spawn takes away the looting fun IMO. you could make it a 24/7 night server, and then put in NVG's, but I don't think you'll get a lot of players. ;)

I got my username when I played Counter-strike. I always tried to get a Colt (M4A1) immediatly, I loved it. Since my real name (Sean) didn't work well with Colt, I made it Johnny. Ever since CS my ingame or forum name has been JohnnyColt, wíth!!! the capital C ;)
