I agree. When I bought the game I kept having to tell myself "okay, its in pre-alpha, be ready for anything". But after playing and experiencing all the bugs and whatnot, I am happily suprised with how much BETTER it is than I thought it would be. Watching Rocket stream is nothing like actually playing the game, I am very exited to see this game develop.

That would be sick! It would be cool also if you could grab someone by the handcuffs and drag them around

Ah nice, I've been wondering my self too, glad its actually that simple

So the past couple days i've been having some problems connecting to servers. I believe it was after i updated to the latest patch. I go on dayz commander (i've tried without commander as well) and look at the server list, pick any server under 50 ping, and as soon as i get in the lobby my Ping slowly increases to 200+. When i try connecting from the lobby it takes forevor to load (over 5 mins) and when it finally DOES load, it tells me battleye has kicked me due to high ping (anywhere between 1900 and 2500). I would blame my ISP, but all other online games work 100% for me. I also know its not my computor specs, as i've been playing arma2/dayz for a while now. Im getting this issue via dayz commander, and steam. I've tried other dayz maps/servers, and i've also tried wasteland, still the same issue. I DID connect to one server just breifely, but i yellow chained and got dissconnected very shortly after (from high ping). I've done LOTS of looking around on google and have found a few similar threads, but they are so old. What i've done so far: Restart/Reinstall arma 2/AO/Dayzmod/Battleye Mess around with my router settings Try it without my firewall on Give arma 2/AO/Dayzmod/Dayz commander full access via firewall settings Restart my pc Restart my router

Any resolution to this problem? Sorry to necro the thread, but im having this EXACT issue

Good news, i have isolated my issue. On a whim i decided to search for a battleye:off server, worked no problem. So now i need to look up how to re-install battleye lol.

someone told me to try port forwarding, but that didnt really help :/

Just tried reverting, still doing it. It seems alright untill Battleye checks if im up to date. This could just be a coincidence though, as i have tried reinstalling battleye several times.
