Friend has an issue where she can send data but not receive new data while in a server. She can drop items for other players, but her inventory does not change until she logs out. She can not use items, and the message of "receiving" is always there. She can't see other players move or items being dropped. Player data is only updating upon entering and leaving servers. Others can see her move. Additional information: The first time we joined a server after installing let us play normally without issues; however, upon changing servers after a server restart, the whole server to client data issues occurred.

I looked around the forum and could not see if there was a use for the syringe just yet? Is there?

Port forwarding that port didn't seem to fix it. Thanks for trying.

Whenever my friend joins a server, the player models are forever standing in the spot they were in when she joins. She can not see them move around nor see the items they drop; however, she can move and drop items which we can see and pick up. Everything worked fine on the first server we joined, but afterwards, this issue came up. Does anyone know why this happens? Thank you. Edit: Right clicking items gives a constant "receiving" message, and any changes to her inventory (moving or dropping items) doesn't occur until she logs out.

Need Technical Support! Player Models Stuck!
Kitrix replied to Kitrix's topic in New Player Discussion
That's just a graphical issue that occurs from GPUs. This seems to be some sort of issue regarding server to client data. It only updates the data being received upon entering or leaving the server. Her visuals are perfect while playing. Just people don't move and other things they do don't register. -

Standalond Hackers...[Teleported to ocean]
Kitrix replied to scroogescrooge's topic in General Discussion
Were you in a non white listed server? I saw a gameservers.c0m server was highlighted. -
You probably joined a gameservers.c0m rather than a gameservers.c0 server.
-
If I play on a non white listed server but have gear on a white listed server, will the data for my character be deleted if I try to return to a white listed server later? Sorry if this is a bit confusing. White listed --> Non white listed --> White listed (Will I still have the gear from the first server [not the 2nd server])

Haha, I kind of do want this fixed on the next patch just because it should be fairly simple to fix. It's not game changing but slightly aggravating. That whole hunger (hungry) and thirsty thing is aggravating as well :D.
-
I still have my character... I think you just joined one of those non white-listed servers. I only join gameservers.co and MPGS.co servers. I've had issues with vilayer and those other smaller servers.

If you're referring to why scripting was never stopped in the mod, it's probably because the engine/mod required scripting to be able to spawn loot, zombies, vehicles, animals, etc. To stop scripting, you'd have to rebuild the spawn system... Thus, they used battleye to ban cd keys that used scripting codes.

Please, don't say dominating. You act like 50%+ of the player base is hacking like the mod used to be. I have yet to come across a "hacker" with playing since release. It could be a hacker, but also just someone abusing the infinite HP bug that comes around on spawn. Or, it was lag/desync making you think you hit him or you're just a bad shot :D. Not saying it's impossible for him to have been hacking and even fairly likely he could have been with it being in early alpha, but your explanation of what happened can be resolved by many other reasons. P.S. Why only 3 rounds? P.P.S What's up with your typing? It's like you were furiously typing while writing your post. "wen't" "hatcet" "laughting" "slwoly." I understand grammatical issues, but this forum has spell check...

You might have an infection. Take antibiotics and maybe disinfect your wounds with an "alcohol tincture." If you can't find those, just keep eating and drinking so that you don't have status indicators of thirst and hunger. I believe syringe has no real use at the moment. You can use a blood pack on another person to steal their blood to get a blood bag. (Remember the blood type system before giving the blood to someone else). IV starter kit is used on a "Blood Bag" or "Saline Bag" to create a "Blood Bag IV" or "Saline Bag IV" that lets you inject the bag contents into another player. Just think of a saline bag as a universal blood bag. It gives another player blood without having to worry about blood type.

My vision was slightly blurry so I took some pristine vitamins, pristine pain killers and tried some worn antibiotics; however, after consuming the antibiotics, my status became sick... I don't think it was a delayed sick message from the vision since I had been playing for at least 30 minutes with this blurry vision without being "sick." Any clues as to why and how to cure it?

I found an injection vial and used a syringe on it and it gave me a filled syringe, but I couldn't even use the syringe on myself. Is it not implemented yet or do I have to inject it to someone else? I don't think they are used for blood test kits since I can use one without a syringe.
-
Hi, I was just curious where do blood test kits normally spawn or are they craftable? I haven't found a blood test kit since the day of release.

Shoot, I must just be unlucky. I've visited many hospitals that were unopened but never found any. Is it usually on the first floor rooms, lobby, or can you find it even in the small upstairs area. Does it spawn anywhere in the military base or is it specific like tents, barracks, ATC tower, hangars, etc?
-
Yeah, I think the only one I've found was from a log cabin house. I've only ever seen the same 2 bandages, water purifier tablets, syringe, blood bag, and IV start kit in every first aid kit (unless a medikit is something different). I was just curious if there was a certain special building that had a higher spawn rate of them. I'm assuming hospitals don't usually have these since I have never found one in them :D.

I was just curious if anyone knew what some weapon attachments did. For example, do the MP (MAGPUL) buttstock or handguard give any benefit compared to the stock attachments? I read the CQB (Close Quarter Combat) buttstock has a side effect of increasing dispersion. Also, does having degradation on things such as the handguard, buttstock, bipod, or silencer do anything such as reducing accuracy?
-
You may be right about the condition for the RIS or I'm just dumb lol. A friend gave me a pristine one, and it worked when I tried with the newer one. Also, the bipod and flashlight can be used at the same time. The M9A1 bayonet (the one that looks like a knife) goes on the m4. You just can't have a silencer.
-
With regards to magazines, I'm assuming you mean just the size of the mag or do the 3 different types actually differ?
-
Nice trick, but I don't think the average person or even the majority would have thought of that idea to open cans. However, I do feel it's a bit silly you can't just crush the cans under your feet, use blunt objects, etc. to get even a fraction of the food out.

Combat logging is lame but banning is a bit of a harsh punishment. Just have combat timers like before, and if they force log then their character dies. If you want a harsher punishment, just give them a timeout of an hour or more.

I'm not too sure, but you may need a saline bag + IV starter kit to wake him up (most people seem to revive unconscious players in this manner). You may also need to blood bag from too much blood loss. I would try to find a saline bag + first aid kit if I were you though.
