bump EDIT: When i launch through commander it shows 248, but when launchiong through Launch Arma2 OA Beta Patch i get proper 515. WTF is going on with this stupid commander program? Why it shows my old version at menu and cant get it working?

I bought Operation Shithead to play DayZ this week. I arleady got Arma 2. It seems it doesnt work, because of bugs caused by Bohemia Interactive. Is it possible to make steam refund me cash for this stand alone? Its quite obvious 90% os sales for this game is for DayZ and when it cant work they should refund it same as with WarZ.

How to make it work? I can join only 2 serwers with an 998xxx version but cant 99515. Installed 99515 by commander and manually and still the same.

There is any way to bind looting to something else than mouse roll? I have this shitty deathadder and middlebutton works but roll not. Cant loot because of that:(.

Hi! Finaly got my OA for DayZ! Downloaded Namalsk and getting insta kick from every server i try to join with no info about reason.(joining server, player list and... iam at menu again). What is going on?

I have original Arma 2 from game magazie, not some arma 2 free version. But its out of steam version. UP: I dont have OA. I just wondering to buy on steam, but not sure if it gonna work with an non steam version of arma 2, because steam has different storage place.

Like at title. Is it possible to play DayZ just with AH on steam and also Arma 2 full version(got it from gaming magazine with cd key), but out of steam? If it is how to make it work?

This game works like total crap. At some village near major city fraps shows me sometimes 19 fps at low/med, lol, WTF? This crap is unplayable on decent pcs, not because of bullcrap which Rocket says about zombies optimization, but because its 1 core usage game. Arma 2 also worked like crap at cities without zombies and that was reason i didnt played it. Hoestly dk how you do that. You all have i7 cpus or you play at 15-15 fps which is unplayable at my opinion(or not enjoyable). Already tried all kind of tweaks, lowered all settings and this game works the SAME on ultra andon low for me which proves my point.

Because i have decent PC and this game works twice worse than Crysis or PC killing planetside 2 during 100vs1000 battle. Seriously. Whats wrong with this arma 2 code? At woods full of shadows and trees i have 30-50 fps and during beeing at ghost town at some pixelized building(not on open field) fraps showing me 20 fps what makes me unable to protect my self and aim. Iam watching streamers like franky and he heasnt any OP PC, but he is able to stream and play on high at this game and iam getting this 20fps even on normal or low at 1280x1024 on PiiX4 3,1 GHz, HD 6870, 4gb 1600MHz ram. WTH is going on with this game? I tried tweaks like unlocking 4 cores for it game, changing some stuff at notepad and nothing gives effect. How make this old and ugly game work properly on gear which runs most of newest titles on high at 1280x1024?

I enjoed an RP and survivor aspect of this game. First session i played last after about 4 hours. I was collecting gear, clothes, wood, running at low profile, rolling on ground at villages looking around by pressing alt at every corner. Finally got spoted by heli at tree covered hill and killed by one of the parachuters hidened around( not just because of advantage of teamplay gamestyle of them, but also because of game mechanics like zombie spawns only near player(so they knew someone is there even if i was hidden) and bad drawing system- at first person near area seems highly covered, but from far distance only "cover" drawen are the trees- no grass and bushes at which you think you may take cover.) Sec respawn same thing, but at major city, spoted by heli(even when i was hidden) and shootedfrom behind. Before death always was saying iam friendly at close chat and got no other respond than bullet. That thing ruins your motivation for game;/.

UP: You are at clan. If u die he will help you(drive u somewhere, give you some supplies), or you already have some tents with gear waiting for you. Other thing. I really watch for hostiles, walking at trees, avoid major cities, but its pointless. As i know zombies spawn when are players nearby. Yesterdey i was spoted at middle of the land by some heli(i was hidden under tree) just because zombies was spawned near me. Its really stupid spawn system. Otherwise to make new and alone players more equal and competetive to other clans, grups or vets who knows all maps and spawnpoints, they should make something like WarZ- safearea where you can hide your collected stuff and noone can steal it. Tents isnt the way for alone playyer, because they are hard to find and more likely ather players are nearby. That would remove atleast this one huge advantage over clans which dont have to start over after death and have all gear right after. I watch some alone wolves like FRANKIE on YT, but when they die they dont start over, thay getting lifts by some choppers, cars to places, getting weapons right away, take teammates to places where they died. Dont have to run like stupid 1 village after another rolling on the ground for hours to die by beeing spoted near zombie spawn by some clan guys which doing rides on gear at some areas.

Just asking. Well, it may be enterteining while you play at bigger groups or with clans. Otherwise what so cool about it? To run for hours, collect some stuff and eventually die by some clan, bigger gruop members? And then start over to again die after hours of runing at emty enviroment? This game should be called multiplayer coop/clan game. Single wolves without friends playing, regiving them gear have no chance at this mod where 90% are hostile and clans and groups has great advantages not just because of numbers, but also because when they die there is gear waiting for them at tents and camps. Alone players has to start all over again=run at bushes for hours and look for smaller cities to die after all and start again.. Its really annoying and get borring very fast. Not to mention tons of hackers and campers.
