I found a little over a week ago that I'm (Rainrix) on the list of banned users that was posted. While it was a mind-boggling sight at first, after reading some posts in that thread I came to the conclusion that the ban must have been issued because I picked up a Hydra rocket launcher - a hacked item I assume, since it had no preview and I got an error upon picking it up - off of a corpse on perhaps my third day of playing. I never used it, mind you - aside from a shot fired into the air - and I died horribly to zombies shortly after. I'd be appreciative if I could be unbanned.

I wish the dev team would come out and say whether or not they'll entertain ban appeals for those of us who were unlucky enough to pick up a hacked weapon. I've gotten no indication of whether they're too busy to comment, or whether they just don't care.

Much respect for sticking up for the little guys, Jasper. Not everyone who was banned was a devious evil hacker bent on destroying the mod. Sadly it doesn't appear as though the dev team cares.

I was surprised as hell when I clicked on this topic and found my name on that list. Whenever I connect to any NA server (including Seattle, NY, etc.) I get stuck on one of the loading screens (Receiving Data, Retrieving Character Dats, etc.). What's odd is that I can connect to EU servers flawlessly. Doubly weird since I'm from Canada and have much better ping with NA servers. Any way to fix this...?

No, as it's one of a few factors keeping the game from devolving into an RPK deathmatch. Were there other measures in place to prevent the aforementioned deathmatch, then yes, scrap it.

What if a sort of anti-bandit state was implemented? A way for the players to police themselves?
