FR 34 / FR 129 RAID WINE Servers Thread

Faco is one of the best. He runs an unparalleled group of servers, be sure and play there for a great time. Cheers

    cant play server help please.

I've seen knockouts like this before, best bet would be have a friend (in the server...since it's private hive I assume?) run an epi pen over and try to wake you up. If that's a no-go...just wait the hour glass out..it's going to take some time but it should help. Sorry there's no better info (aside from having an Admin slay you). Cheers

Cannot connect to battleye! cant play!

First two things that come to mind: 1) Have you ever been able to get in-game, or is this a new issue? 2) Not to come across like a prick, but have you tried BattlEye support? They just might have an answer--they may not!

    Computer specs

If it's all the same, I'd go with the Sandy Bridge family of i5 CPU personally (2600k being my favorite iteration of i5). They tend to run a bit cooler from what has been going around, and they overclock very easily (should you ever care to tinker). I know people that run these well into the 4.xGhz range on air cooling easily. As far as motherboards go, I'm a fan of Asus products--but that's not to say there aren't plenty of viable options out there. I have always enjoyed their quality, and features, not to mention they cover many pricepoints. Moving on, I would go right ahead to the Corsair H100i cooler if you're considering an all-in-one water system--as it's their finest offering. In my (mostly jaded) opinion, if you're going to spend any money on cooling there is no sense settling for a small unit--especially with all-in-one water systems. A high quality air cooler will surpass a small AIO Water setup in almost every case. Go bigger here, and be glad you did! Sounds like you're building a nice machine, if you're looking for some rough examples of FPS you can expect check out this review on the 660ti from Guru3d (the link will bring you to the FPS testing page where they show performance on Battlefield 3). They are top-notch reviewers in the enthusiast world, and should be able to really show you a pretty close glimpse of what to expect--although I'd say you'll have buttery smooth frames with that rig in most any game at most (reasonable) resolutions! Cheers

How do you update Battleeye scripts?

First thing's first, have you got FTP access to the server? If yes, you're in good shape! If no, put in a support ticket to see if you can get access to this. To update your BattlEye filters download the latest ones (I work with FACO on these and he updates them very frequently) http://dayz4linux.in...ed.fr/battleye/ upload them to your cfgdayz/battleye/ directory overwriting your old ones (save backups!) With your favorite RCON tool, run the command "loadscripts" and then "loadevents" You will now be running the latest and greatest! Cheers Edit: Fraggle beat me to it! =P
  8. I'm not sure about availability in your region, but I use an Asus G74-SX laptop for work/gaming and it plays DayZ just fine. I've upgraded mine to 16GB of RAM and an SSD--but you could get away with running it bone stock just fine. https://www.asus.com/ROG/G74SX/

    US 3480 admin abuse

After incessantly bashing the server, the admins who work to keep it running, the community who pays for the server, the players in the server, then claiming your friends were wrongfully banned but providing no GUID's or other information--then to go and teleport around the server when people start getting sick of your constant verbal abuse. Sorry if you're frustrated, friend, but you were banned for any of the above reasons. Take your pick as to which one. As far as making threads to complain about it...I feel bad that this is the type of attention you have chosen to attract. Cheers
  12. Correct, Sir. It's not that big a deal to me, but when the server has a mess of people in it who can't figure out what's going on--it takes a toll on traffic. That's really my concern, the players who are subjected to it something they can't control (and don't understand often times).
  13. Exactly. This is from my RPT (I've been testing this in my server). I had zeds kill me >> hit abort >> respawned into the game >> and it runs this loop: 3:46:43 "TELEPORT REVERT: TG ! Since I know the exact circumstances behind this loop (for this one example) I can tell that it's looping me when I try to respawn--so it's not someone teleporting me. That probably also explains why the FROM and TO fields are identical. In any case, it's a bug that has been raising some questions in my server.

Building a gaming pc 18/05 need reccomendations

Hey mate, first thing I notice is that you've listed nothing specific. If you're simply looking to upgrade what you've got--you would need to list specifically what type of memory (RAM) you've already got so a compatible board/cpu could be recommended. I would recommend looking into a new monitor, quite frankly. Be a shame to upgrade all your hardware and still run 1280x1024 when you'll be able to do so much more. Start from there, and I'm sure we can help you out. Cheers

    Few Questions

Hey, Meaux! I'm one of the admin for US3480, and I've noticed you in there quite a bit recently. First off, thanks for playing with us--here's a beer. Secondly, the "clothes" work (roughly) like this: Clothing: -Survivor (male) there are a couple "clothes" sets you can spawn with (white shirt, black shirt) -Survivor (female) far as I know there's only one set of clothes for the female characters at this point -Bandit (male) the bandit outfit seems to generally be the white shirt & blue pants, but you will be wearing a shemagh around your face/head. -Bandit (female) standard clothing doesn't change--but the shemagh is on your face/head -Hero (male) this skin wears jeans, and a plaid shirt, baseball cap, and a black vest (stops small caliber pistol rounds). There is a slight sprint speed boost for being a hero that lasts until the character begins to pant/breathe heavily. -Hero (female) remains in standard clothing *Camo Clothing - Male characters can be spotted wearing "camo" clothing (consists of camo pants, cutoff shirt, and vest) [these spawn in-game, use the dayzdb map to find where] *Ghillie Suit - Again, male characters can be seen wearing a full-body ghillie suit (some people call the "swamp suit" etc.) [these spawn in-game, use the dayzdb map to find where] **Soldier clothing - script kiddies will often spawn in crates and in them you can find "soldier clothing" which is a set of BDU's and kevlar helmet. Looks pretty similar to the "heavy class" zombies around military spawns. Humanity: Humanity is how the game judges your characters involvement in the world, and how you will be portrayed to other players in-game. Hero Skin: Doing what I will call "good deeds" (giving medical attention) will earn you points on your humanity. The higher these points, the closer you become to a "hero" skin. I may be misquoting here, but I believe a Hero skin is attained when you've administered 20 bloodbags to people. Or X amount of morphine, bandages, etc. There was (once upon a time) a bug that would give hero-skinned players humanity every X minutes. To my knowledge this is no longer the case. Bandit Skin: The bandit skin is (as mentioned above) going to have the shemagh around your head/face which will, in many occasions, get you shot on sight (Also called KOS or kill on sight). Bandits aren't usually held in very high regard, and people tend to expect them to KOS or to try and trap people into helping them so they can get a kill. When your humanity becomes negative (from killing heroes and survivors) you become a bandit. It can take as little as one hero kill to become a bandit, be careful! **Note: -Killing Survivors will LOWER your humanity -Killing Heroes will LOWER your humanity -Killing Bandits will NOT AFFECT your humanity Cheers!

    DayZ 1.7.5.1 Bug List

The top 10 based upon what? According to GameTracker the top 20 are almost entirely (if not 100%) private hive servers. I'm not necessarily in disbelief, I just wonder where this stat is coming from--as players in my server have actually been crying over chopper crashes not spawning. I know they are, in fact, spawning because I've set eyes on them myself--but I would comment that they do seem to have drastically decreased in number. Just my $.02 Cheers, R4Z -- thanks for all the updates!

    Vehicle Not repairing

At risk of necroing a tired thread, I'll say that I'm having this issue with the new "little bird" on my server. Neither one (AH6x_dayz or MH6x_dayz) seems to repair...the "vrotor" remains yellow, and they leak fuel to the point where they are inoperable. Anyone had experience fixing this??
