Thank you for the report, I saw those events in the logs and it's been handled. Cheers :beans:

Overclocking is a fairly subjective topic in general, I'll start with that. What one user experiences will likely be vastly different than the next user, and so on down the line. First thing I do when aiming for a gain in performance in a game/application is the demands. If it's more CPU or GPU bound. A game like Arma/DayZ you're going to need CPU horsepower to process what is happening. If your current motherboard allows for a CPU upgrade, I would start there. You haven't listed your system's specs with much detail, so it's hard to really say a lot on this particular aspect; however, you've OC'd from 2.9 to 3.2 which is only a 300mhz increase. 3.2ghz may sound like a better number, but in the grand scheme of things it's not a large increase. Do you have any more OC headroom here? Can you bring the CPU up more (safely) to increase performance here? These are things I would look at. Be mindful of your system's voltages as well as temperatures when doing this. OC'ing requires a lot of trial and error, and thorough testing before it can be called stable. As for your GPU. It's been stated, and is no secret, that the 7750 is a mid range card. Sure, it can be overclocked, which will yield a performance increase albeit a minor one. If you keep up with current hardware testing and GPU overclocking, I think you'll see that even on a very high end system an average fps increase is likely going to be in the 3-10 frame ballpark when in comes to in-game results. If your voltages can remain stable, and you've got the cooling for it--this is another way to slightly increase performance. Recording. Are you streaming, or actually recording? I know players with OC'd i5 boxes (4ghz+) that, when streaming, have quality issues. The fix is typically to set up a dedicated rig (separate pc) to handle the encoding. Running a game such as Arma/DayZ whilst encoding is going to take an exorbitant amount of processing power. If you're truly looking for quality, I would guess that you would want to look into the suggestions given above about upgrading your pc to handle your specific demands. Hope a bit of this is useful. Cheers

Feel free to come play with us any time. We have a great group of fun regulars, and the server tends to have people in it at most hours of the day. It's a NY server, not sure if that's what you're looking for or not. We also have a teamspeak, the connection info is in the server's MOTD when you first join. Hope to see you out there! Cheers p.s. if you're looking to join a community we are taking in new members currently, only real requirements at this point are to have Teamspeak and be willing to hold a mature conversation whilst playing with people.

Script-kiddy destroyed our server
TG ! Jimmy replied to NoKillsException's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
You could also add the player's IP/GUID (or both) to your bans.txt file that lives in the /cfgdayz/battleye/ directory on your server. Cheers p.s. don't hesitate to ban a cheater, but be sure (as it sounds like you have) that you're banning someone for the right reason. -
North Country Killers *Now Recruiting*
TG ! Jimmy replied to {NCK} Lady_Lamp's topic in Clan / Group Recruitment
Courtesy bump. NCK is good people--join em and have fun. Or join em, and get killed by TG ! Triton. Your choice. :P -
If your ticket is with a Game Server Provider (GSP) you won't be able to find much info here. Depending on who your host is, it could take a while to get a response to your ticket--as many hosts don't have as active support channels... If possible, you might consider cancelling and finding a new host? Ask around to see which hosts seem to be performing well. I use HFB, and while they are not very quick to respond usually--they are willing to help as much as they can. Expect 24-48 hours for a response, though. Cheers

How do you update Battleeye scripts?
TG ! Jimmy replied to Uncle Zed's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
They are created in conjunction with Dwarden, so they are the same (for the most part). Focused, of course, on security. -

Be sure and let us know what BattlEye says, I'm curious to the answer here. -
How do you update Battleeye scripts?
TG ! Jimmy replied to Uncle Zed's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
Do you use IRC at all? Jump into the #DayZ channel on Gamesurge and find myself or Faco. We can help. -
I've had users tell me this as well. Give it a try, guys.

FR 34 / FR 129 RAID WINE Servers Thread
TG ! Jimmy replied to facoptere's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
Faco is one of the best. He runs an unparalleled group of servers, be sure and play there for a great time. Cheers -
I've seen knockouts like this before, best bet would be have a friend (in the server...since it's private hive I assume?) run an epi pen over and try to wake you up. If that's a no-go...just wait the hour glass out..it's going to take some time but it should help. Sorry there's no better info (aside from having an Admin slay you). Cheers

Cannot connect to battleye! cant play!
TG ! Jimmy replied to zombardment's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
First two things that come to mind: 1) Have you ever been able to get in-game, or is this a new issue? 2) Not to come across like a prick, but have you tried BattlEye support? They just might have an answer--they may not! -
If it's all the same, I'd go with the Sandy Bridge family of i5 CPU personally (2600k being my favorite iteration of i5). They tend to run a bit cooler from what has been going around, and they overclock very easily (should you ever care to tinker). I know people that run these well into the 4.xGhz range on air cooling easily. As far as motherboards go, I'm a fan of Asus products--but that's not to say there aren't plenty of viable options out there. I have always enjoyed their quality, and features, not to mention they cover many pricepoints. Moving on, I would go right ahead to the Corsair H100i cooler if you're considering an all-in-one water system--as it's their finest offering. In my (mostly jaded) opinion, if you're going to spend any money on cooling there is no sense settling for a small unit--especially with all-in-one water systems. A high quality air cooler will surpass a small AIO Water setup in almost every case. Go bigger here, and be glad you did! Sounds like you're building a nice machine, if you're looking for some rough examples of FPS you can expect check out this review on the 660ti from Guru3d (the link will bring you to the FPS testing page where they show performance on Battlefield 3). They are top-notch reviewers in the enthusiast world, and should be able to really show you a pretty close glimpse of what to expect--although I'd say you'll have buttery smooth frames with that rig in most any game at most (reasonable) resolutions! Cheers

How do you update Battleeye scripts?
TG ! Jimmy replied to Uncle Zed's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
First thing's first, have you got FTP access to the server? If yes, you're in good shape! If no, put in a support ticket to see if you can get access to this. To update your BattlEye filters download the latest ones (I work with FACO on these and he updates them very frequently) http://dayz4linux.in...ed.fr/battleye/ upload them to your cfgdayz/battleye/ directory overwriting your old ones (save backups!) With your favorite RCON tool, run the command "loadscripts" and then "loadevents" You will now be running the latest and greatest! Cheers Edit: Fraggle beat me to it! =P -
Need help choosing the right laptop for playing Dayz in mind
TG ! Jimmy replied to Cheese Grinder's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I'm not sure about availability in your region, but I use an Asus G74-SX laptop for work/gaming and it plays DayZ just fine. I've upgraded mine to 16GB of RAM and an SSD--but you could get away with running it bone stock just fine. https://www.asus.com/ROG/G74SX/ -
I believe this was in error, and I've removed it: 28.02.2013 12:17:45: Brent b3e8dbc4e67f4c6e50ac8e1debbf652c - #32 2:37 [9806,9208,363]

North Country Killers *New DayZ Clan* Now Recruiting
TG ! Jimmy replied to {NCK} Lady_Lamp's topic in Clan / Group Recruitment
These are good people, I've personally played with them many times. Be happy to see NCK grow as a community. Cheers -
After incessantly bashing the server, the admins who work to keep it running, the community who pays for the server, the players in the server, then claiming your friends were wrongfully banned but providing no GUID's or other information--then to go and teleport around the server when people start getting sick of your constant verbal abuse. Sorry if you're frustrated, friend, but you were banned for any of the above reasons. Take your pick as to which one. As far as making threads to complain about it...I feel bad that this is the type of attention you have chosen to attract. Cheers

The new Anti teleport script. Reported to server's RPT log
TG ! Jimmy replied to splinter2k's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
Correct, Sir. It's not that big a deal to me, but when the server has a mess of people in it who can't figure out what's going on--it takes a toll on traffic. That's really my concern, the players who are subjected to it something they can't control (and don't understand often times). -
The new Anti teleport script. Reported to server's RPT log
TG ! Jimmy replied to splinter2k's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
Exactly. This is from my RPT (I've been testing this in my server). I had zeds kill me >> hit abort >> respawned into the game >> and it runs this loop: 3:46:43 "TELEPORT REVERT: TG ! Jimmy (40605797) from [2.39434e-005,1.94833e-005,51.7503] to [2.39434e-005,1.94833e-005,72.2622] now at [2.39434e-005,1.94833e-005,103.267]" 3:46:44 "TELEPORT REVERT: TG ! Since I know the exact circumstances behind this loop (for this one example) I can tell that it's looping me when I try to respawn--so it's not someone teleporting me. That probably also explains why the FROM and TO fields are identical. In any case, it's a bug that has been raising some questions in my server. -
Looks like the new anti-teleport has been working overtime.
