Morphine auto injector has a set dose in it, and the dose is usually the single use, also considering anti biotics, we have a real 24h cycle in game, why not have set times of day, instead of once every hour, depending on the severity for what your taking those, Say you took some bad hits, and you got this new nifty indicator that has a biohazard shape, and it is on green, but blinks, you take a pill once a day for 2-3 days, during afternoon and it goes away, you dont, it gets worse. You got the icon blinking brownish you need 2 pills a day, on the morning, and afternoon, and for 3-4 days, or it gets worse, blinking red icon, you need 3 pills a day, morning, afternoon, evening, for a week-8 days, and you have random hallucinations due to high fever brought in by the bacteria in your blood. and eventually if you get no antibiotics, you die because you go into a septic shock. -

I said it was doable, never said you would enjoy it, or make a pretty neat job like with a knife, but simply dimissing it as too hard of an option is what the prewious princesses said To share, or to stash incase know your headed for bad territory, and not sure you would make out of there, for example, you can have 2 axes, why not 2 knives. Wow :D you automatically think of it as some Energy drink add style energy, have heard of these things called Calories and carbohydrates? they are the main source of energy for body, down to the cellular level metabolism. True but the logic is not there, since the game is trying to make a realistic environment, therefore your needs should too be realistic, what most people here(including FinKone, hope he is not a finnish guy, he should try spending winter month or a summer month up in lapland living off the land) did not understand that the load your carrying should affect your water intake, and i merely said the general guide lines, sure if you carry a 40kg load and run all the time, 3 hours is a good amount of time for needing a drink, but damn, who of us here actually gets a 40kg load off the bat? hell i think the heaviest load i usually carry is either the 1866 or the remington with light, some ammo for it, some wood, matches, map, binoculars, hatchet, bandages, pistol with 2-3 clips, couple of heatpacks, some chemlights, a water bottle or 2 sodas, and that takes time to accumulate, and no way in hell is that load 40 kilograms. except they are not, tell me your empty nylon backbag weighs 40 kilograms, and explain the logic in that. -

I said an active person, i did not specify what loads they would carry during that period and what pace and terrain, personally, i dont run most of the 3 hours in game i propaly run 40 minutes average, rest of the time is spent going slowly avoiding zombies and players. So a 3 hour span on water intake or you die, seems damn silly for me. You had a dismissive comment on the food, which was giving a message that a person could not survive 5 days w/o food, so yeah, it seriously looked like you were missing the point of human body doing what it can do to survive. No we do not have a good relation, considering the ingame hours move the same pace real hours, and you ABSOLUTELY have to drink every 3 hours and eat every 6 hours, OR YOU DIE! it is not about survival shows screwing with peoples heads, it is about having yours so far up in your ass, you dont see the game that is trying to be realistic, has not taken in the factor of how much human body can endure. So yeah, you did miss some points. -
Change the Backpack carrying structure

Yeah that thing has some sharp edges, the first thing you would hear after 200 meters of jogging would be "Riiip" of anything getting ripped to shred used to carrying it on your back. -

consider this, US army requires A MINIMUM! of 2000 rounds fired without malfunctions from their assault rifles, HK416 and couple of others do 3000+ and this can occur in only one rifle out of 20. so if you actually add the jamming mechanism, and want to keep it realistic... well you might as well not. since the bar for a severe malfunction(where you need to something else than just chamber/reload a new round) is that amount of rounds fired, NONSTOP! Hell the modern AK's can fire more rounds than the HK416 and still not malfunction. Now ask yourself the question, when do you see someone in chernaruss carrying 2000+ rounds for any given assault rifle, and fire them all at you? for more food for thought, The beretta 9mm has an average 17,500 rounds fired without malfunction, and that was with the old models, since then they have perfected the model and made it more durable. I could see the use for jamming in Arma2, but DayZ... it wouldnt have large enough impact. As far as the other weapons, such as sniper rifles, they pretty damn rugged also mostly, so actual chances are if you need to do anything, is zero the sights again, or replace it. unless you actually poured in vet clay into the firing chamber, or concrete to the barrel. IF i was dying and had my rifle with me, my last thoughts sure as hell would not be "I am gonna sabotage my rifle so no one cant use it..." -
considering how awkward the water is to interacted with in ths game, please no, ill rather have a random zombie spawn right behind me every 10 minutes than try and loot something underwater in this game.

Untill you get a completely realistic skeleton structure on the characters, and remove the idiotic limitations of the engine, and give the characters bodies realistic capabilities as far as controlling extremeties go, FPS only is a needless implementation. Especially how screen rocks back and forth when you run... seriously who runs like that and swings their head 30 cm from side to side. -
I dont see why CQC should not be implemented, the game is trying to be realistic, and went out of its way to add hatchet as a "reloadable" melee weapon.

imho would be way too labor intensive for regional weather, making it happen, connection to different national weather services, and maintaining it, as apointer only couple parties have the man power and tech to pull it off, Nasa and Esa are the smallest off the bunch, just food for thought. -
