yeah, that would leave room for other things too. especially if you got some other backbag than coyote, or have 4 slot section inside the backbag(open backbag) where you can choose to put either the ammobox, or an extra pistol etc. etc. -

How about, if we want to mock our victim, we can "try to revive him" and when(allways) it fails there is this "AAaaawww" sound with a large audience and a screen "better luck next time" -
For our christmas presents we get a chernarus winter: -Less food and sodas, since some animals have gone to south, some of them herd in safer places with less snow to plow through for the food, and because it is winter, you need to warm up your frozen sodas. -You need more heatpacks, due to the cold winter -Water canteens when filling up have water in them only for a couple of hours so you need to drink them before your thirst gets critical, or they ice over, and you need a camp fire or heatpack to heat em up. -You get cold faster and start shiwering -People turn to cannibalism and mysterious fat guy in a red and white getup with small folks around who wear red and green seem an awfully inviting all you can eat buffet. Now the Pros: -Zombies become more fragile as they lack the proper clothing and their extremeties start to freeze over, Zombiecicles !!! -Ghilley suited bastards cant hide so easily anymore, it is open season on the rooftop campers to be. -Now there is a reason to have alcohol in the game -making campfires becomes a more valuable option, and you can share your survival stories among your survivor/bandit friends. -getting indoors is now a more valuable option rather than roughing it out on the open.

DayZ Standalone: When you spawn in, Infected don't de spawn

What i would like to see is not starting out as a bambi and have a fucking zombie spawn on my face 15 meters away, with hes friend the bunny rabbit and earthworm jim, What i would like to see is that zombies investigate "the disturbance in the force" when a player logs in and out if they try to clear them out, and get closer each time they do this, say at first, closest zombie patrols an area that extends 20 meters away from the log in and out spot, the zombie moves hes route 5 meters closer, player tries it again, now it moves it 10 meters closer, taking him eventually 5 meters from the player if he stays still. -
difficulty of that being the armor is sloped, not a straight angle surface you would be hitting, the 9mm and 7mm armor panes can easily amount to 15-16 and 13-14mm equal in a straight angle slab of steel, and given that the barret will penetrate 1½ inch of straight angle steel from 100 meters, WITH an AP round, shooting at the BRT-70 from 100 meters with standard rounds, still might not do the trick, it would be like a camble, it could do it, and on the other hand it couldnt :S not to mention, getting that close, you would be vulnerable to return fire.

Change use of .50 cal Sniper Rifles

and the sniper did the shot twice! both hits, on different targets. Never the less .50 cal rifles have their advantages over the smaller calibers such as .308 and .338, the only thing that comes close to the stopping power of the ,50 cal snipers and penetration is the .408 cheytac. -

Finnish self defence forces outback camps, closest trace of civilzation aprox 180km away. Mid winter, mid night 2½ hour perimeter patrol duty, Yeah it is dark, and it is cold, but atleast i saw more than in DayZ with my default gamma settings. -

hmm do i count as a horrible vehicle operator too if i have a tendency to try and crash the vehicle as spectacularry as possible when the gas gets low, and try and bailout xD I once managed to Glitch flip my ATV in the air 2 barrel rolls, i survived the crash, but i broke my leg and had to crawl for 50 minutes or so to the nearest hospital for some morphine xD -
Not to mention if you are the explorer/survivor type like me and my buddy who travel together, and who prefer to log out in a building at the outskirts of the city to wait for further exploration later on, this thing just fucks up the playability so much, persistent in the game description means, you continue where you left off, if this gets implemented, they need to remove that word, that word happens to be one of the bigger ones, players look at when they pick their zombie/survival games, so therefore i dont think this is a good idea, not to mention, it is not going to happen. And i cant distress enough how bambi and lowgeared people are affected, this game makes it an extremely unfriendly for them, not to mention how long getting said gear takes anyway these days, with all the asshats going to some easy mode server, gearing up, then jumping to some random server for their daily "bambi hunt"

I dont strive for a high kill count, player or zombie :) i have a different goal, see how long i can survive, i fire my gun when needed, but the best run so far was aprox 39 hours of game play, only 72 zombies killed, 1 murder, i didnt have anything fancy on me, as i prioritized getting the tools over weapons, close to the end i had the m1014 w/o flash from a deer stand xD someone either left it there or it spawned. before that for almost 30 hours i had used a double barreled shotgun and m9sd. Gotta say though, m1014 with pellets :D just destroys zombie hordes ^_^ -

Wanting to avoid people is cowardly? especially when your about to log out anyway? but you would be forced seek another place to log out, you really are a dense one arent you :S Leaving a town can take anything from 1-10 or maybe 15 minutes, all depending on what kinda gear you got to deal with zombies, how large the town is etc. so thats not an option if you absolutely have to go, say, you get an urgent call from the nature, or you need to catch a buss etc. Sorry but your suggestion is lacking too much, and it punishes too much.

wouldnt work really well as 48% of the deaths(just a gues but i figure a close one) are from zombies mauling your bones broken etc. so revival would just continue the suffering for a couple of minutes. and other 48% of the deaths are from being riddled with bullets, 4% is self inflicted deaths for getting a bad spawn(for some people, me for example it is higher) -

-The shotgun ammo system, the ammo is the same, just in different stacks, so what is stopping us from using shots from an 8 stack on a double barreled shotgun... litelarry nothing, except the dev :S -

in big cities yeah, but even in the western industrial countries, all you need to do is go to some small counties and farmer land areas and you suddenly realize how small of an amount of people out there really have any allergies, and seeing the size of the towns in chernaruss, i doubt too many people have allergies, seeing how they would be exposed to allergenes since childhood to develop a resistance. -

I like the ammo box idea, but i think we should think the size a bit, say 15 cm high, 20cm wide, 10-15cm deep. would still fit snuggly in the backbags, and you can still stash in some food and drink there. and some extra mags. -

yeah atleast in real life i can see my hands and generic shapes in front of me, when we are at the cabin up north, in game w/o adjusting gamma you aint seeing a barn till you run into one xD -

Gues you cant read, if i wanted to customize the FP to give a view even close to that of real human vision, it distorts the image quite a bit, also as i do not have control over individual extremeties of my body, I.E. head, limbs, you can go and sodomize yourself, my argument is valid. 3rd fixes the short comings of FP, in game that is based on a war "simulator" -
Characters locked to server and more

Character/character loadout and location locked to server, would be nice, it would also prevent people from just obtaining godly shit on other servers easily, and go on a bambi hunt at cherno on another server.
