how many zombies you can atract in 3 minutes in elektro, and survive while potentially dodgin bullets, player needs to be out of elektros west side via mainroad, zombies following you at that point, and on to the outside of elektro, will be counted and tallied. Call it the "Mad piper race" -

My moral compas is simple, if a player has a gun or hatchet out, and i face an OMG ITS COMING STRAIGHT FOR US situation, i will shoot w/o hesitation, If i see a ghilley with a sniper raised and he drops on a knee and turns towards me, same end result. period.

Low Permanent Cost to Killing

My solution: 10 kills in one life = bandit skin, Die skin resets but humanity stays as it is, kill again and it is back to bandit skin(unless you got shot at first) 30 kills in one life = You look like this, return to regular bambi looks on death. same kill rule as with 10 kills under your belt, whenever you raise your weapon, a sound is played saying "Dont you dare to touch my mustard you hippies" 45 kills in one life = You look like this thats right, no ghilley suit for you bro, you dont need it, your so damn badass. on death return to the state of havign 10 kills. 69 kills in one life = You will forever be transformed into one of and that same song will constantly be looped around you(you will hear it yourself for one loop when you kill someone) and there will never be a return to the past. -

gentlemen what we need is an E-peen calculator. Equation as follows: Time spent in ghilley suit(Square of sniper rifle kills Divided by times you have died on this particular incarnation) Multiplied by Bambies killed, multiplied by square of zombie kills. Divided by blood left in your body = Your E-peen lenght in inches. -

Fixed that for you, if you cant take in and process an argument for the fact that DayZ is less about shooting everything that moves where things that are in front you are the only things that matter, But more about knowing everything what is going on around, I pity you, i pity your teachers and i pity your future employer. Because you fail at basic logic and common sense. -
Shotgun damage should be instant kill, and potential for multiple kills.

means he propably had the shakes and didnt aim properly, i remember my 2nd player murder, it was with an m1014, one shot from 50 meters, when the idiot was running at me with a hatchet. also the doublebarrelel has a nice spread to it, makes it the best close range ambush weapon in the game fast 2 taps from it should garantee a kill unless you got shakes and dont even try to aim. -

Current zombie mythos should dictate(thank you 28 days and 28 weeks later movies) -The zombies move in waves -Zombies move erraticly, so not every town has them, but doesnt mean they aint far. -Zombies are curious and simplest of the sounds will put them on a frenzy, wild animals etc. So apart from zombies running after wild life, the current model is up to date with current "trend" of zombies. -
Will not work, since the deaths in this game result in heart stopping, not entering a tachy, or fibrillation. so it would be rather pointless. Loss of blood? heart stops = no use. Die of thirst or lack of nourishment? heart stops, and will not start pumping again due to lack of energy on cellular level = No use.

yup, less ammo in overall with most of it as loose, or same amount of it, but most of it as loose ammo and scattered over larger areas would fix that nicely. -
Dreygar i know what the different bullets do, please dont take me for an idiot as i am not taking you, what i am saying is the effect witnessed by marines(mans mid section innards blown out, blowing him in half) was due to the cavitation process which in turn relates to the kinetic energy, which in turn has less to do with the bullet than the range it was shot from, considering it was an unarmored, soft target. IF he was wearing a west, effect would have propably been less violent atleast seemingly, but the innards would have still expanded rapidly due to the process of cavitation, basically making hes center mass right below rib cage a mush.

The blowing a man to half has to do with the cavitation of a kinetic object, changing the material it travels through to a more dense one, and the shock created by it, I keep my statement and trust what the Marine cor has witnessed on multiple accounts, the bullet itself has little to do with the end result, if the world of physics suddenly lost the rules that allow cavitation, a center mass hit would not result in nothing else but a fist sized hole in the back, and a .50 cal hole in the front.

here is the point, Arma 2 itself, there it works, but dayz is more about horror survival and assessing the situation, the FPW as we have it, is lacking as you cant control your extremeties, there the 3rd is needed to patch that, which is what i have tried to say all the time, i agree to admit, we both misunderstood each others points. Considering the medium we communicate through, and you are comparing 2 different things we both made mistaken assumptions, i dont need to provide the screens, you can go to an FPS and do the FOV adjustments yourself, But i atleast can admit and see we both made hasty assumptions. And no it is not blowing things out proportion, of the things Dayz needs atleast, i never said that Arma2 itself needs 3rd. -
you know adding no backbag as a start gear, might be a good thing for bambis, less silhoutte, definetly lot less sticking out of grass when crawling.

Suggestion for buildings in the SA.

-Add real life size water towers with their control/pumping rooms as potential last stand places for past survivors, loot scatter accordingly. -Add Stadiums or sports arenas. Potential for large amount of loot, but in a Zapocalyptic scenario, it most likely is filled with detainees turned to zombies, so the risk is high too. Potential fortresses if cleared out and a large group of players work together to make it work. -Add Borderpatrol stations, every sovereign nation has them, even the soviet block had them between the varsov treaty countries, but they were called "border check points" and you could find those in the wilderness along some fence line with no roads what so ever, just a trampled path to give away it has seen some traffic by foot. -Cultivate the possibility of being able to enter any residential building by some means, someone has already suggest a good use of crowbar for this, and i would like to see a possibility of shooting a lock off with a shredder or a slug. -Add underground ammo and weapon stockpiles, any country that made any military installations after WW2, without an exception has those, even luxemburg and malta has them, so does finland. -Add bombshelters, not familiar with foreign standards but finnish bombshelters are equipped with ABC filters with crank operated AC machines, 2-3 weeks worth of drinking water and rations minimum, heatpacks and other means of generating heat, most bombshelters out do those requirements by a factor of 3. -Add The EER simulation into the game(emergency energy reserve, gas generators and such) unless the zombie apocalypse was so fast that people dint have time to switch on them, but if they did, you could salvage jerry cans and gas, fill a gas or diesel genny on side say a police station, and get potential surveillance feed from a control room, making it a potential defensible position. -Add mass transit stations into the game, large buss terminals or train main train station(s) -Ula/short wave radios found in random residential areas, stop to chat with other random survivors who might have found another radio elsewhere :) -Add Fallout shelters(different from bombshelters, they are usually above ground and made of thicker walls, usually 2-3 stories high) For a potential other place for lots of medical gear and propably backbags and tents etc. water bottles, community shelter gear. -

i figured you tried to provide pictures with different Fov, gues you were too stupid to understand it, also the Humans field of vision data, is not my own calculation, it is from a medical source, so it is not out of proportion, if you cant take the info in without getting or witty brain go haywire, i humbly suggest. how about rather, have a small chance to spawn with coyote or alice or better(better ofcourse has lower chance) and a high chance to spawn with no backbag.

Fire iron, the survival tool where you scrape a stick against a finely serraded surface, would allow you to make small "fingernail fires" to warm you up in the woods, without having to gather wood, would allow you to warm up beans to gain extra heat faster while eating.

As far as being an instant kill, your saying you could use the bandages in game to patch yourself up, when your gushing enough blood to pass out in aprox 30 seconds, and die within a minute, cood luck with that mate. Also as far as the bullet cutting a man in half, as i said, it is not the bullet itself doing it, it is the sheer shock that follows it, and it can happen no matter what bullets your using with the weapon, saying you "saw a video of someone testing, does not equal what happens everytime you shoot it" also yeah, .50 cal pistol rounds are small in comparison to the rifle rounds, and when civilians mentioned it is most likely the pistol round. If you do not believe me about man getting cut in half...The reason a .50 cal cut a person in half is due to a process called cavitation, nothing will happen ofcourse unless the bullet hits, when it does, the cavitation created by the sheer kinetic energy, will make your insides expand rapidly, there is also one such case witnessed by a snipers team in afganistan, the video was viral for a short time and tried to find it from youtube, but the ones i find keep telling me they are "private videos". So, i recommend you go and look what cavitation means, and happens with cavitation when the mass the object is going through suddenly changes thickness. And yes i used a wrong word, the word i should have used rather was Blown in half, due to rapid expansion of your innards by a .50 cal foreign object entering your body and supersonic speeds.
