Could you please stop parroting that mistake. It was not a hack' date=' nor was it a glitch even. Calling people who changed their gamma hackers is just as stupid as people who respond to every complaint with "go back to CoD" as if they improve anything ever by saying it. [/quote'] Let us define exploit : to take advantage of (a person, situation, etc), especially unethically or unjustly for one's own ends. Yes, the Gamma Hackers were exploiting the game in a way that wasn't intended. If they wanted people to crank Gamma all the way up to basically have daytime there would be no night cycle. And yes, the people who changed their Gamma should go back to CoD. This is DayZ, not CoD, the night is part of the game, and as such NVGs should run the night, not who can turn their gamma up the highest and snipe Cherno, now the Kiddies can't sit on the hill outside Elektro and snipe until they get NVGs and a DMR, otherwise they are limited to engagements within aggro range. This patch + the beta patch were exactly what DayZ needed. -

Ok! If people don't like it, they don't have to play. Have you seen Rocket's response to these posts? He doesn't really care much, as it's his mod and he's doing with it as he pleases. Even if half the people currently playing drop, this game would still have more players then some real MMOs. I'm sorry you find it hard, but deal with it if you want to keep playing. DayZ isn't Hello Kitty Island Adventure, it's a Oh Fucking Shit, Run! kind of game, and it's finally taking shape. -

I only play during the night, I avoid day time servers like the plague. I don't play run and gun, I prefer stealth and precision strikes, something that is hard to do during the day. -

No, no they wouldn't. Look at it from the angle of the overall big picture. The world's population is decimated, survivors are scattered about, and no major governments are left standing, it's all down the stone age in terms of law and order. Shot or get shot, kill or be killed. There is no justice other then you shoot at me, I kill you, unless you kill me first. There is no police, sheriff, army, etc. If DayZ were real life, NO ONE in their right mind would become a "bounty hunter" they would just say "Hey, bro, you know airfield 6 clicks north? Don't go there unless you have a death wish. Oh, and stay out of the major cities." and be done with it, there would be no anti bandit task force like so many people like to imagine. -
Shot each window once, I work left to right, after the 4th pane it shatters, never put more then 1 bullet into each pane of glass, otherwise you are wasting that round.

Yes. It's an Alpha, try it out, if it doesn't work, revert it. People are just over exaggerating the "Bandit" issue, they won't waste their time unless the newly spawned, weaponless player decided to run through Cherno or Elektro holding a flare like they do now. -

Helicopter lost all fuel and is impossible to refuel

It's a bug causing the fuel leak issue, and Helicopters do not take fuel tank parts, the fuel tank is part of the hull, which requires scrap metal to fix. Just going to have to wait it out for a fix. -

Server restart. It's best not to waste it all and only use it in extreme emergencies. That is, until (if) Ammo Trucks are put into the mod.
