Foxxmaa (DayZ)

Hey man, sorry for the incredible late reply. I havn't been gaming as much as i was but i'm gradually getting back into it. Now back to the foretold problem i did what you said and ramdisk made the game run smoother and the PCI power output was already OFF, but it still didn't solve the game stutter that i seem to have. My CPU usage is constantly fluctuating no matter what i am doing, but can still run other games such as WoW or LoL fine. It seems to be only dayz and other CPU intensive games that have this stutter. Anymore help would be greatly appreciated and I'm deeply sorry for the late reply. Thanks in advance, Foxxmaa

Hey guys Foxxmaa here, I have a pretty old pc rig which im in the process of upgrading because when i'm playing dayz or any other game or even watching you tube every couple of seconds my pc starts to lag and then pretty much freezes but then a few seconds later goes back up to running perfectly fine with around 35 fps in dayz I know this is not my graphics card as i have upgraded it and still have the same problem but do not have enough money to purchase a new cpu and motherboard any feedback would be greatful, thanks in advance Specs: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4800+ 2.50GHz 6.00 GB ram 32-bit windows 7 operating system (upgrading to 64-bit later today so i can use all my ram) AMD Radeon HD 6670

well first i would like to thank you because after your post of to remove my game booster asd set my 3d resolution the same it fixed the lag and have been playing lag free fpr about a day un til ealier where it started again and all ive been doing is playing :(~

steam and game booster helped sort out normal fps but dident fix this thing its been happening way before i installed anything as i had just wiped my pc to upgrade to windows 7 and it occured then as when it was xp i could play it fine

Dont use windowed mode just couldnt take a full screenshot so had to use windowed and yes nvidia panel is all program controlled

Ive been told this alot and have reapplied thermal paste and even got a fan (not a pc fan an actual fan) and stuck it behind my pc and its on constantly but still no luck but like i said its strange that it drops from around 40 degrees to 30 while the lag is happening but then goes straight back up

It does it with all games aswell not just dayz e.g. battlefield 3 , WOW , black ops 2 , minecraft

any help please this is started to become a newsence

Specs AMD Athlon X2 Dual Core Processor 4800+ 2.50 GHz 4 gigs of ram NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS (i know its old but it should still be able to run dayz as my friend has pretty much same specs as me and can run it fine and smooth at 40 fps) windows ultimate

as stated in the title dayz pretty much freezes as fps drops from around 40 to about 7 fps and i run it in windowed mode and have core temp on the side of my screen and my both my cpu apparently drop about 10 degrees which is basically impossible in around 2 seconds any help would be much appreiated ive pretty much tried everything and i also use razer game booster to try and help but just improves fps over all not this little blip thing, thanks
