I typically play a lot more of Breaking Point than I do of Vanilla DayZ, which not very many people tend to use VON over side channel, only in emergencies, and then quickly get told to shut up by at least 5 people. Text over side chat I don't mind, but that is in my casual non recorded gameplay. I play a server on vanilla DayZ which has side chat enabled and everybody and their mom uses it. But this server is more set towards a TDM style than basic Day Z.

According to humanity system it takes roughly 4 to 5 survivor kills to reach Bandit status, as far as I am aware they don't give out bandit skins

As Lok stated purchasing it from the Bohemia store, is cheaper and they get 99% of the money for it. The Digital Download/Steam is the way most people go about it. You can have the physical copy of it and run it though steam, again this is personal preference. Using Day Z Commander or Six Updater is option, but both make it easier to play Day Z, I personally prefer Day Z Commander over Six Updater. If you are using the physical copy, you'll have to do a little bit of configuration. I originally bought the Reinforcements pack way back in the day, physical copy. I have no idea where my disk or my map is. I bought Combined Ops via Bohemia, and downloaded it onto Steam, which is fairly simple to use.

As far as I am aware they don't have a set release date yet, and even if it was announced I am pretty certain it would be announced here first

Really I think the game is quite fine where it is, the fact is scoped hunting rifles are surpisingly common even in post soviet states, a lot of communities rely on it for the food. and from what I understand, I could be completely wrong so don't quote me. Hey guys, I got asked this question during my stream last night and I am not sure how to answer it. So I am deferring to those who are a bit more knowledgeable than I am. They were wondering if they went over to their friends signed into their steam on the friends computer and install the Arma II and OA files on to that computer, and their friend just bought a CD key that they would be able to play Day Z together. This one stumped me, I am not sure if it is even possible. Thank you ~Mossy

I think taking the time to post a little bit more info would help you find more people willing to bite. Are you playing vanilla Day Z on Chenaraus, or on Taviana, Day Z origins, or 2017 or what?

Berazino is a great place for a wide variety of gear, places that are good for gear, but are high risk are the airfields, and stary. I would suggest hitting the Deerstands , and score the plains for crashed choppers.

These numbers can be changes around. Just a suggestion.
