The only time I had to kill Fresh spawns, was because I was being chased and forced to run to my friends along the beach, and seeing how the server had people spawning with Makarovs, I couldn't risk it. PVP is actually a rare event, You got to remember it is a 2252 km map so that even with 50-70 people it's still quite large. A lot of the time there are the campers around the major cities, Stary Sabor, and NWAF. A lot of time I see people but don't engage them just because It's too far away and I am not positive I am going to hit the target. In the 8 months I have been playing I have gotten only One (1) Player kill, I am not counting some of the Bandit kills I have had, they were cheap. But that was because he showed up at NEAF while I was looking for some more M4SD rounds or another weapon. It was a situation I couldn't risk him taking our Ural full of Helicopter parts.

1.No it's not possible, It's designed to have random spawns to keep some people from getting easier kills, also, it helps if you killed the person that killed you, wouldn't it suck if both of you spawned it the same place. Although rare, some times it does happen though. 2. See answer # one. Day Z keeps it random to try to keep it fair. 3. Depending on if you are on a public hive (strongly don't recommend) Yes your gear will travel with you. Private Hives are most of the time, it's not possible. 4.
