Was inside the med tents of Balota. Got an AKM, bincoulars, and had an ALICE pack with some great stuff. I had to kill some zed in there, and actually had to use both of my bandages (got hit once and started bleeding, twice). I had everything though, and was ready to leave. I had to make sure to find bandages ASAP. Opened the entrance gate of the tent area. The gate I opened flew right at me, breaking my bones, making me become deaf, and worst of all, I started to bleed. No bandages anywhere, and I soon died. All because of a fucking gate.

I used to play on low. Now I have to play on VERY low. It sucks. I can't see anyting from a distance. Glad I havent come across a sniper.

My character is almost dying of thirst. The canteen icon is very red, and I have no idea when it will start flashing and I will die. I found a well though, (with a lever and such) but it gave me no option to fill my canteen up. I was pissed. I had to keep running for a lake, or house to look for soda. Next time I get on I hope I can find something, or i'm dead :( I do have another question... How long do I have when the icon flashes?

Wait so you have to stand in front of the well, go the the menu and right click canteen? I did not do this but I will try thnx

Well, my computer has pretty good specs, but I have a Intel HD Family Graphics card, so I play on Low. It would probably be better if I played of very low but it looks like a PS1 game. With Low it looks like PS2 :p. I would want to know how much FPS it is, but I have no idea how to see how much fps it is.

I fear death no more... We've traveled together for a very long time, my friend and I. We've shared beans and sat at campfires talking about the good ol' days. It feels like yesterday we rushed in the big city and blew zombies piece by piece, laughing and enjoying this terrible life that is around us. He is my brother......from another mother indeed. We heard someone yelling for help; he was being swarmed in a barn. The poor fellow had no idea what he was doing, so we just had to help him. We ran in, guns blazing, killing any flesh easting monster we saw. Until the end we saw the poor noob being chomped on and bleeding out. No more zombies left. We rush to aid the man. Poor soul won't live to see another day. We sit there for a few seconds to confort him, and he dies. Suddenly though, when we walk out, there are a lot of zombies rushing from the distance. Shit, it is time to go! We run as fast as we can across the landcape. We look behind, and see countless amounts of zombies. Bang...bang..bang. We try to kill as much as we can but no longer do we have ammo. I look at my dear friend, and tell him to run. At first he refuses, but knowing the circumstances, he acknowledges, and sadly runs east in grief. I look at the sun. Even at a time like this the sky can look so amazing. I smile, because now I know I fear no evil.

Holy crap you are so lucky. Then again I dont play PC games (this is the first PC game I've played in a long time and will stick to xbox until I live on my own with enough money for a great gaming PC). So I guess I am lucky my family computer can even run this game.

I tried downloading US version when I try download some of the .rar files they say "B interupted". Basically means they dont work. I guess I'll have to do the SWE version. Will that affect what serevers I can join or something?

Everyone's chat text is blue, but mine is green. They are all communicating but I try to talk they cant see it. I met up with someone and he asked me questions. I tried text chatting him but he couldn't read it. Am I in a different channel or something?

It kind of does take away from the epic gameplay because it is VERY hard to see figures from far away with Very Low graphics. This can be terrible when there is a bandit with a long range rifle. It can be bad on any firefight situation. So if I had to pick between low and very low... I'll choose low :)

First off, which FPS is smooth and what should I shoot for? But my main question is how do I find out how much FPS i'm running at? Is there some kind of button on the keyboard that tells me numerically? Sorry, but I dont usually use a computer for high tech stuff like gaming (DayZ is the first game I played for PC in a LONG TIME)

I spawned right near a broken helicopter. It looked fine, the machine guns worked, but it was immobile. I was checking it out for a little while wondering why it wont fly, when I get shot at. I run towards the grass while getting shot and I hide. I'm already down to 5k blood and bleeding, and I go prone in the grass to camoflauge myself. The dumb bandit catches up and looks around for me (nametage disabled). I shoot at him so many times, but my vision is so blurred I cant tell if im hitting him. He doesn't fire back. I think he ran to the helicopter to try to fly away, so I quickly bandage and pop pills and run towards there. Im down to 2k blood and I pass out. I wake up, and notice my screen says "bandit killed: 1". I jump in joy! I look for ther body for more painkillers, but even the flies cant help me find the body. I cant see crap. I try to chat for help but no one responds to me.... And I die.... Well, commit suicide.
